Abstract

101,345. Jacot, P. E., and Tissot, A. Aug. 27. 1915, [Convention date]. Cases, watch; pendants.-Packing-rings of elastic impermeable material, such as india-rubber, &c., are arranged between the frame and back of the case and between the frame and the glass and a rim surrounding and carrying the movement and glass, and also in the pendant under the winding-knob. The packing h for the back b is housed in a recess g in the frame a and compressed by snapping or screwing the back into place. The packing m carried in a groove in the frame bears against the rim j which surrounds the movement, and against the glase k, and is tightly compressed by means of the pointed screws p, and lugs.o which bear on the chamfer c of the frame and secure the rim and movement. The packing w in the pendant u is compressed under the knob v by a spring yoke y hinged at x and provided with a catch-hook z.
