Abstract
1,012,895. Stretchers. BRADLEY & BLISS Ltd. Aug 26, 1964, No. 35032/64. Heading A5X. A stretcher comprises a rigid sheet 1 made of material which allows X-rays to pass through it. The sheet may be made of a polyester resin formed by cross-linking styrene with an unsaturated polyester resin formed from maleic and phthalic acids and glycol. The polyester resin may be reinforced with glass fibres. The sides and ends of the sheet may be turned over to form channels 2, 3 in which handles 4 or telescopic handles 7 are inserted. The sheet may be curved.
