Abstract

A composition comprises a linear fibreforming polyamide and 3 : 4 : 41-trichlorocarbanilide. Specified polyamides are poly-6-amino caproic acid, poly-{-caprolactam and those made by reacting diamines, e.g. decamethylene diamine, octamethylene diamine, hexamethylene diamine, pentamethylene diamine or tetramethylene diamine with dicarboxylic acids, e.g. adipic, azelaic, sueric or sebacic acid. The compositions may be spun into fibres and woven.
