Saws.-The teeth of a circular cutter for treefelling and cross-cutting machines are formed in sets, each set comprising oppositely-bevelled chisel-edged teeth b, b<1>, and a planing or paring tooth c with a flush edge of the full thickness of the cutter. Two chisel-edged teeth may be arranged directly one behind the other, and two successive planing teeth may be interposed between two chisel-edged teeth.
