1,009,751. Telegraphy. BRITISH TELECOMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH Ltd. June 7, 1963 [June 8, 1962], No. 22220/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading H4P. A tape in which is punched data in a constant length code, each character is provided with additional punching positions by means of which the character is classified. The classification may indicate, for example, that the data is secret, or that it is bound for a particular route. If the tape is inserted in a reader for which it is not suitable, the transmitter is shut down and an alarm operated.
