Abstract

A brazing alloy comprises .Si.0.25-1.8% .Cu.1.0-20.54% the balance being nickel and manganese in the ratio of 2.12-3 parts by weight of Ni per one part by weight of Mn. The alloy may be homogenized at 1600-1800 DEG F. prior to hot and/or cold working to form a brazing wire or foil.
