Incrustation and corrosion, preventing and removing.-A difference of electric potential is established between a liquid and its containing- vessel. The current employed may be direct or alternating, and in the latter case the inner surface of the container and the auxiliary electrode are coated with a film-forming metal, such as aluminium, and a film-forming electrolyte, such as borie acid and borax, is employed. The invention is applicable to steam-generators.
