Abstract
1,007,787. Orientating crown corks. HOLSTEIN & KAPPERT MASCHINENFABRIK PHOENIX G.m.b.H. March 3, 1964, No. 8853/64. Heading B8S. Crown corks are agitated in hopper 1 and are fed therefrom down shoot 4 and are discharged at 11 to the bottle capping machine. Those corks which are wrongly presented to shoot 4 slide down the said shoot and due to the positioning of the ridges on the cork are diverted at 5 into shoot 6a, are turned round at 6b, and fed down shoot 6c so that the two sets of corks now similarly orientated are agitated and fed by wheel 8 and discharged at 11.
