Abstract

A perforated tray-shaped panel for ceilings and walls is provided adjacent its inside surface with a film of self-adherent synthetic resinous material. As particularly described, the resinous material is sprayed on to a flat panel surface or, in a panel formed with parallel ribs and channels, the material is sprayed to extend between the ribs and over the channels. The resinous material is produced as described in the Specifications 608,654 and 665,466 and includes a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer with a vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer in a suitable solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone.
