Abstract

1,002,515. Valves. ULUSUNDA VERK STADER A.B. May 31, 1962 [June 1, 1961], No. 20975/62. Heading F2V. A valve controlling the flow between a fluid pressure channel 12, a motor channel 14 and an exhaust channel 16 comprises a valve body 24 reciprocable in a bore and provided with closure surfaces 36, 38 which co-operate with valve seats 32, 34. Portions 40, 42 extend axially from the closure faces and have small radial clearance, of the order of a few hundredths of a millimeter, with the bore 18. The axial length of the portions is such that with the valve body in an intermediate position at least one of these portions provides a substantial degree of interruption between the high pressure and discharge channels 12, 16 to prevent pressure loss.
