Une électrode négative pour élément électrochimique lithium-ion, l’électrode comprenant :- un collecteur de courant,- une composition de matière active déposée sur l’une au moins des faces du collecteur de courant et comprenant une matière active qui est un composé de formule M15 - xM’xM’’1 - yM’’’yO40-aXb dans laquelle :M représente un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi Nb, Ta et V,M’ représente un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi Ti, Zr, Mo, Cr, As et Sb, M’’ représente un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi Mo et W,M’’’représente un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi Cr, V et Te,X représente un halogène,0≤x≤7,5 ;0≤y<1 ;0≤a≤5 ;0≤b≤1,le composé satisfaisant la relation (15-x)*5 + nx + (1-y)*6 + my =(40-a)*2 + b; n et m indiquant respectivement les degrés d’oxydation moyens de M’ et de M’’’.
