Système de traction d’un véhicule ferroviaire et véhicule ferroviaire associé Système de traction (12) d’un véhicule ferroviaire (10) comprenant un moteur électrique de traction (18), une batterie de traction (22) présentant une tension de traction ayant un valeur nominale supérieure ou égale à 800 V, la batterie de traction (22) étant reliée au moteur électrique de traction (18), le système de traction (12) comprenant en outre un moteur à combustion (20) et un dispositif de démarrage (26) configuré pour démarrer le moteur à combustion (20), le dispositif de démarrage (26) étant relié à la batterie de traction (22) par une liaison d’alimentation (28) agencée pour alimenter le dispositif de démarrage (26) par une tension de démarrage strictement inférieure à la tension de traction.
