Abstract

L’invention concerne un étalon (1) pour l’étalonnage et la calibration d’un dispositif de contrôle de la conformité d’un cordon de silicone ou de colle destiné à une pièce de véhicule automobile, ledit étalon comprenant une platine (2) métallique pourvu d’une face fonctionnelle (3) en forme générale de disque, ladite face étant pourvue d’un bourrelet (4) usiné s’étendant généralement selon un cercle de référence (5) et présentant une pluralité de secteurs angulaires successifs (Q1 à Q8) traversés par ledit bourrelet, lesdits secteurs angulaires se partageant entre un secteur angulaire nominal (Q1), où ledit bourrelet présente une forme générale en arc de cercle et une section nominale correspondant à celle dudit cordon, et une pluralité de secteurs angulaires non nominaux (Q2 à Q8) où ledit bourrelet présente au moins un défaut spécifique dans chacun desdits secteurs. L’invention concerne également un procédé d’utilisation d’un tel étalon (1).
