Abstract

Set for preparing a cosmetic product and associated process

The present invention relates to a set for preparing a cosmetic product comprising:

- a dispensing device comprising at least two reservoirs and at least one dispensing nozzle, each of the reservoirs comprising a distinct cosmetic formulation and being able to be connected to the dispensing nozzle, and

- a pocket comprising a filling opening, a first and a second compartment and at least one passageway fluidly connecting the first compartment with the second compartment, the passageway comprising at least one baffle.

A cosmetic product is in particular a product as defined in Regulation 20 EC No. 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated November 30, 2009, relating to cosmetic products.

Given the great diversity of cosmetic products on the market, there is a growing desire among consumers to use personalized cosmetic products.

For this purpose, it is known to distribute cosmetic formulations in a container, using a dispensing device, according to a recipe defined according to consumer parameters, such as for example hair color, condition and degree of damage to their hair, their skin type, or their skin condition defined for example by the presence of acne, redness and/or wrinkles.

The personalized cosmetic product thus obtained is intended to be applied directly to the consumer or closed to be taken away by the consumer in the case where the container is directly a packaging pot and is presented for example in the form of a cream.

For the cosmetic product to be homogeneous, the cosmetic formulations forming ingredients of the final composition must be mixed together.

Generally, this mixing step is carried out in the container, for example using a spoon, before application to the consumer.

Alternatively, this mixing step is carried out using a centrifuge.

However, such mixing is not entirely satisfactory, because it requires additional cleaning steps, which may also result in a loss of a quantity of product.

It is also known to carry out this mixing step with specific mixing equipment, which is expensive, bulky and requires a lot of maintenance.

An aim of the invention is to propose a cosmetic preparation assembly capable of mixing cosmetic formulations in a simple, economical and effective manner.

For this purpose, the subject of the invention is an assembly of the aforementioned type, characterized in that the filling opening of the pocket is arranged opposite the dispensing nozzle, the dispensing device being arranged to distribute each of the cosmetic formulations directly into the pocket by the dispensing nozzle, the pocket being configured to receive a pressure force from outside the pocket, the pressure force being capable of generating a flow in the baffle of the cosmetic formulations distributed in a first direction then in a second opposite direction, so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product, the first direction going from one of the first compartment and the second compartment to the other of the first compartment and the second compartment.

Thanks to the flow of cosmetic formulations in the baffle, they are mixed directly inside the bag. Such a mixture is simple to implement, because it does not require an additional cleaning step. It is also economical, because it does not require the use of complex mixing equipment. In addition, producing the mixture directly in the bag makes it possible to limit the number of intermediate containers used, and therefore the waste generated.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the dispensing device and/or the bag is provided with a mixing element capable of exerting the pressure force from outside the bag.

This embodiment is advantageous in that it does not require additional devices to carry out the mixing, which could be expensive and impractical to use.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the mixing element comprises at least one support element movable alternately between a first position, in which the support element is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment and a second position, in which the support element is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment.

This embodiment is advantageous in that the mixture is implemented directly by the dispensing device without operator intervention.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the pocket comprises a support bar capable of attaching to the pocket and movable alternately on the pocket between a first position, in which the support bar is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment and a second position, in which the support bar is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment.

Such a support bar is simple to use and inexpensive. In addition, the operator can mix the cosmetic formulations several times, for example in the case where all the product contained in the bag has not been dispensed at once.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the filling opening opens into the first compartment, the dispensing device being arranged to distribute the cosmetic formulations in the first compartment of the bag.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the dispensing device comprises a bag forming unit.

In particular, the bag forming unit includes a distribution system of two superimposed surfaces and a weld cavity configured to define the first and second compartment, the baffle and the filling opening on two superimposed surfaces.

Such a bag forming unit makes it possible to form the bag directly in the dispensing device. The operator therefore does not have to connect the bag to the dispensing device.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the pocket comprises a tip secured to the pocket and defining an interior passage capable of connecting the filling opening of the pocket to the dispensing nozzle of the dispensing device, the tip being capable of distributing the homogeneous cosmetic product through the interior passage.

In particular, the end piece comprises a plug intended to removably close the interior passage.

Such a bag with a tip has the advantage of being reusable. In addition, thanks to the removable cap, the bag can be closed after a first distribution of the cosmetic product, in order to protect the cosmetic product remaining in the bag from external contamination.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, an interior volume of the pocket comprising the first compartment, the second compartment and the baffle opens exclusively through the filling opening, an additional opening being suitable for being provided on the pocket.

Such an additional opening of the pocket allows distribution of the product directly to the consumer.

Advantageously, the passageway comprising the chicane allows the passage of fluid between the first compartment and the second compartment at rest and permanently.

In particular, the passageway including the chicane is clear at rest.

The invention also relates to a process for preparing a cosmetic product comprising:

• a step of supplying a set as described previously,

- a step of filling the first compartment by distributing each of the cosmetic formulations through the dispensing nozzle placed opposite the filling opening,

- a mixing step, in which a pressure force is exerted from outside the bag so as to generate at least one flow in the baffle of the cosmetic formulations distributed alternately in the first direction then in the second opposite direction, so to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product.

The process for preparing a cosmetic product according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken in isolation or in any technically possible combination:

• after filling the first compartment with the cosmetic formulations, the second compartment remains empty before mixing; And
• the method comprises closing the filling opening after filling the first compartment with the cosmetic formulations.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example, and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which:

With reference to Figures 1 and 2, a set 10 for preparing a cosmetic product is described according to a first embodiment of the invention.

The assembly 10 includes a bag 12 and a dispensing device 14.

The cosmetic product is for example a cosmetic product for care, coloring and/or makeup of a body surface or hair.

The cosmetic product is advantageously presented in liquid or creamy form, such as for example a hair coloring cream.

The cosmetic product is for example made up of a mixture of different cosmetic formulations, in particular according to a predefined recipe.

More precisely, the cosmetic product consists for example of a cosmetic base, for example in the form of a cream, mixed with one or more active cosmetic products, such as dyes, pigments, care active ingredients for example.

As illustrated on the , the pocket 12 comprises a filling opening 16, a first compartment 18, a second compartment 20 and at least one passageway 21 fluidly connecting the first compartment 18 with the second compartment 20, the passageway 21 comprising at least one chicane 22.

The pocket 12 defines an interior volume 24.

The pocket 12 is for example made up of two sheets assembled together along a peripheral joint and defining the interior volume 24 of the pocket 12 in which the first 18 and second 20 compartments and the path of passage 21.

The interior volume 24 preferably opens exclusively through the filling opening 16.

The filling opening 16 is suitable for connecting the interior volume 24 with the exterior of the pocket 12.

The filling opening 16 is advantageously configured to authorize distribution of cosmetic formulations in the interior volume 24.

Preferably, the filling opening 16 opens into the first compartment 18.

Each of the first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20 is suitable for housing cosmetic formulations.

The first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20 have for example a volume of between 5 mL and 20 mL.

The passageway 21, and in particular the chicane 22, preferably connects the first compartment 18 with the second compartment 20.

The passageway 21 comprising the chicane 22 is clear when at rest.

In other words, the passageway 21 comprising the baffle 22 is not closed and fluidly connects the two compartments 18, 20 permanently, the baffle 22 generating resistance to the passage of the fluid and/or a variation in passage section.

The baffle 22 preferably has a small cross section, for example between 2 mm and 5 mm.

In particular, as can be seen in the , the baffle 22 has a cross section smaller than that of the compartments 18, 20. The interior volume 24 thus has an hourglass shape by the reduction in section at the level of the baffle 22.

The baffle 22 is advantageously configured to allow the cosmetic formulations to flow between the two compartments 18, 20.

The pocket 12 is configured to receive a pressure force from outside the pocket 12.

For this purpose, the pocket 12 is advantageously made of a flexible material, for example from plastic sheets.

The pressure force is for example capable of generating a flow in the baffle 22 of the cosmetic formulations in a first direction S1 then in a second opposite direction S2, so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product.

As can be seen on the (c), the first direction S1 goes for example from the first compartment 18 to the second compartment 20 and the second direction S2 from the second compartment 20 to the first compartment 18.

Such a flow of cosmetic formulations between the two compartments 18, 20 passing through the baffle 22 of small cross section allows mixing of the cosmetic formulations with each other to obtain the homogeneous final cosmetic product.

The bag 12 is advantageously the final container of the cosmetic product intended to be used by a consumer.

For this purpose, an additional opening can be provided on the pocket 12 for dispensing the cosmetic product.

For example, the pocket 12 includes a previously defined pre-cut, for example in the form of a perforated line.

The pocket 12 is advantageously made of a transparent or translucent material, configured to allow observation of the interior volume 24 from the outside of the pocket 12.

The dispensing device 14 is for example integrated into a dispensing machine present in particular at a professional or in a commercial point of sale.

As illustrated on the , the dispensing device 14 comprises a dispensing nozzle 26 and at least two reservoirs 28 each comprising a distinct cosmetic formulation.

Each of the reservoirs 28 is for example a cartridge or a bag fixed on the distribution device 14.

Preferably, at least one of the reservoirs 28 comprises a cosmetic formulation which is a cosmetic base, for example in the form of a cream, and at least one other of the reservoirs 28 comprises an active cosmetic product, such as a dye, pigments, or an active ingredient. care for example.

The distribution nozzle 26 is connected to each of the tanks 28, for example by a distribution conduit 30 as illustrated in the .

Furthermore, in a distribution configuration, the distribution nozzle 26 is arranged opposite the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, and advantageously connected to the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12.

The dispensing device 14 is thus arranged to distribute each of the cosmetic formulations through the dispensing nozzle 26 directly into the pocket 12, and more precisely into the first compartment 18 of the pocket 12. During distribution, the cosmetic formulations flow advantageously directly from the dispensing nozzle 26 to the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, without an intermediate conduit.

For this purpose, the dispensing device 14 advantageously further comprises a dispensing unit 32, for example made up of syringes capable of passing a quantity of cosmetic formulation from each of the reservoirs 28 to the dispensing nozzle 26.

Preferably, the dispensing device 14 also comprises a control unit 34 configured, in particular from parameters entered by the consumer, to determine a personalized cosmetic product recipe. The parameters are for example chosen from the condition and color of the hair, the thickness of the hair, the condition and type of skin.

The recipe defines for example the quantity of each of the cosmetic formulations present in the tanks 28 to be distributed.

More particularly, in the distribution configuration, the distribution device 14 can distribute through the distribution nozzle 26 in the first compartment 18 of the pocket 12 several cosmetic formulations, for example a base and at least one active cosmetic product in defined quantities in the personalized recipe.

Furthermore, the dispensing device 14 advantageously comprises a closing element 35 of the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12.

The closing element 35 is for example a welding impression capable of welding or gluing the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12 after the distribution of the cosmetic formulations by the dispensing nozzle 26.

Advantageously, the dispensing device 14 is further provided with a mixing element 36 capable of exerting a pressure force from outside the pocket 12.

More particularly, the mixing element 36 comprises at least one support element 38, and preferably a control element 40 of the support element 38.

As illustrated on the , particularly in the case where the dispensing device 14 is integrated into a dispensing machine, the support element 38 is for example a pair of rollers surrounding the pocket 12 and capable of exerting a pressure force on the pocket 12.

Advantageously, the support element 38 is movable alternately between a first position, in which the support element 38 is configured to exert the pressure force on the first compartment 18 and a second position, in which the element support 38 is configured to exert the pressure force on the second compartment 20.

More precisely, when the support element 38 passes from the first position to the second position, for example by the control element 40, the pressure force exerted on the pocket 12 is capable of generating a flow in the chicane 22 cosmetic formulations distributed in the first direction S1 going from the first compartment 18 to the second compartment 20.

On the contrary, when the support element 38 passes from the second position to the first position for example by the control element 40, the pressure force exerted on the pocket 12 is capable of generating a flow in the chicane 22 cosmetic formulations distributed in the second direction S2 going from the second compartment 20 to the first compartment 18.

Preferably, the support element 38 is movable in translation on the first compartment 18 between the baffle 22 and the end of the first compartment 18 opposite the baffle 22. Likewise, the support element 38 is preferably movable in translation on the second compartment 20 between the baffle 22 and the end of the second compartment 20 opposite the baffle 22.

Optionally, the dispensing device 14 comprises a bag forming unit 42.

In particular, as illustrated in the (a), the training unit 42 comprises for example a distribution system for two superimposed surfaces 44 and a weld imprint 46.

The distribution system 44 is, more particularly, made up of a sheet storage roller 48 and a driving roller 50 capable of causing the unfolding of the storage roller 48, and more specifically the distribution of two superimposed surfaces 52, for example two plastic sheets.

The weld cavity 46 is configured to define the first 18 and the second 20 compartments, the baffle 22 and the filling opening 16 on the two superimposed surfaces 52 unrolled.

Advantageously, the dispensing device 14 further comprises a cutting system 54 configured to separate the bag 12, in particular after distribution and mixing, from the dispensing device 14, in particular from the rollers 48, 50, for example by cutting .

A process for preparing a cosmetic product according to the invention will now be described.

The method includes a step of providing a set 10 as described above.

More particularly, the method advantageously comprises a first step of providing a dispensing device 14 as described above and a step of forming the pocket 12 by the pocket forming unit 42 of the dispensing device 14.

In particular, the system for distributing two superimposed surfaces 44 distributes two superimposed surfaces 52, for example two plastic sheets, by unwinding the storage roller 48 carried by the driving roller 50.

Then, as illustrated in the (a), the weld imprint 46 defines a peripheral joint on the two superimposed surfaces 52, hot or by gluing. The peripheral seal delimits the first 18 and the second 20 compartments, the baffle 22 and the filling opening 16.

Subsequently, the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12 thus formed is arranged facing the dispensing nozzle 26 of the dispensing device 14, and advantageously connected to it.

The method then comprises a step of filling the first compartment 18 by distributing each of the cosmetic formulations through the dispensing nozzle 26 connected to the filling opening 16.

More particularly, the dispensing unit 32, for example made up of syringes, passes a quantity of cosmetic formulation from at least two of the reservoirs 28 to the dispensing nozzle 26 which distributes them into the first compartment 18.

In particular, the quantity of cosmetic formulations distributed is defined by a personalized recipe determined by the control unit 34 according to parameters entered by the consumer. Preferably, a base and at least one active cosmetic product are distributed in the first compartment 18 of the pocket 12.

After filling the first compartment 18 with the cosmetic formulations, the second compartment 20 preferably remains empty before mixing.

Furthermore, after filling the first compartment 18 with the cosmetic formulations, the method advantageously comprises a step of closing the filling opening 16.

In particular, the closing element 35 of the dispensing device 14 welds or glues the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, in order to close the interior volume 24 of the pocket 12.

The process then includes a mixing step illustrated on the (c), in which a pressure force is exerted from outside the pocket 12 so as to generate a flow in the chicane 22 of the cosmetic formulations distributed in the first direction S1 then in the second opposite direction S2, so as to homogenize the cosmetic product.

More particularly, the control element 40 of the mixing element 36 of the distribution device 14 causes the support element 38 to pass from its first position to its second position, then vice versa, so as to generate a flow in the chicane 22 between the two compartments 18, 20.

Preferably, the control element 40 moves the support element 38 several times from one position to another.

The flow of the cosmetic formulations through the baffle 22 of small cross section results in a mixing of the cosmetic formulations with each other to obtain the final homogeneous cosmetic product.

Subsequently, the method advantageously comprises a step of cutting the pocket 12, in particular to separate it from the rollers 48, 50.

To distribute the homogeneous cosmetic product obtained, the operator creates an additional opening on the pocket 12, for example by tearing, cutting or perforating the pocket 12, in particular along a pre-cut.

Such an assembly 10 allows a preparation of personalized cosmetic product with a mixing step carried out directly in the final container.

Such a mixing step is simple to implement and does not require a cleaning step, since the mixing is carried out directly in the bag 12 through which the product is then distributed to the consumer.

In addition, producing the mixture in the bag 12 limits the number of intermediate containers used, and therefore the waste generated.

It is also economical, because it does not require the use of complex mixing equipment.

The invention is not limited to the first embodiment described above. Other embodiments and variants, as well as all their technically possible combinations, can be considered.

According to a second embodiment of the invention illustrated on the , the pocket 12 is provided with a mixing element 60 capable of exerting the pressure force from outside the pocket 12.

More particularly, the pocket 12 comprises a support bar 62 capable of attaching to the pocket 12, as illustrated in the .

The support bar 62 is movable on the pocket 12 alternately between a first position, in which the support bar 62 is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment 18 and a second position, in which the support bar support 62 is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment 20.

Preferably, the support bar 62 is movable in translation on each of the first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20, between the baffle 22 and the end of the first compartment 18, respectively of the second compartment 20, opposite the baffle 22.

The support bar 62 is for example clipped onto the pocket 12 and is able to be moved by a user in the first direction S1 and in the second direction S2.

In the second embodiment of the invention, the preparation method differs in that the mixing step is not carried out using the dispensing device 14, but by the mixing element 60 of the bag 12.

More particularly, at the end of the filling step, the pocket 12, previously closed, is separated from the dispensing device 14, for example by the cutting step.

The user then attaches the support bar 62 to the pocket 12, for example by clipping it.

Then, the user moves the support bar 62 on the pocket 12 from its first position to its second position, then vice versa, so as to generate a flow in the baffle 22 between the two compartments 18, 20 and obtain the cosmetic product homogeneous.

According to a third embodiment of the invention illustrated on the , the pocket 12 includes a tip 64 secured to the pocket 12.

The tip 64 is for example glued to the pocket 12.

The end piece 64 preferably defines an interior passage 66 capable of connecting the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12 to the dispensing nozzle 26 of the dispensing device 14.

More particularly, as is visible on the , the interior passage 66 extends on either side of the filling opening 16 with one part extending into the first compartment 18, and the other part extending outside the pocket 12.

The nozzle 64 is able to connect to the dispensing nozzle 26, for the distribution of cosmetic formulations in the first compartment 18 via the interior passage 66.

Furthermore, the tip 64 is preferably capable of distributing the homogeneous cosmetic product through the interior passage 66.

Preferably, the end piece 64 comprises a plug 70 intended to removably close the internal passage 66. The plug 70 is suitable for example for being screwed onto the end piece 64.

The preparation process of this embodiment differs from that of the first embodiment in that it does not include a pocket formation step.

Before the filling step, the tip 64 is connected directly to the dispensing nozzle 26 of the dispensing device 14. After the filling step, the tip 64 is disconnected from the dispensing nozzle 26.

Preferably, the cap 70 is then screwed onto the end piece 64 in order to close the interior passage 66.

The mixing step is then implemented for example using the support bar 62, as described in the second embodiment.

The consumer can subsequently remove the cap 70 to distribute a desired quantity of the homogeneous cosmetic product through the interior passage 66.

Thanks to the tip 64 and its removable cap 70, the pocket 12 can be closed after a first distribution of the cosmetic product, in order to protect the cosmetic product remaining in the pocket 12 from external contamination.

Preferably, the tip 64 is able to connect to a refillable dispenser bottle in which the pocket 12 is inserted. Such a connection allows distribution of the cosmetic product from the pocket 12 via, for example, a dispensing tip of such a bottle.

In a variant of the invention, the pocket 12 comprises a plurality of baffles 22 fluidly connecting the first compartment 18 with the second compartment 20, as is visible in the example of the .

Each baffle 22 has a cross section smaller than the cross section of the first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20.

In another variant of the invention, the mixing step is not carried out using the dispensing device 14, nor by the mixing element 60 of the bag 12, but by the user himself .

More particularly, the user exerts the pressure force on each of the compartments 18, 20 of the pocket 12. For example, he exerts pressure on the pocket 12 between his thumb and his index finger.

Alternatively, at the end of the filling step, the bag 12, previously closed, is placed in a distribution bottle.

The dispensing bottle comprises a mixing element, in particular a support element, such as a roller for example, capable of exerting a pressure force from outside the pocket 12 so as to generate a flow in the baffle 22.

After mixing, the cosmetic product obtained is for example distributed by a dispensing tip of the bottle, advantageously connected with the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, for example via the tip 64.

Claims (13)

Set (10) for preparing a cosmetic product comprising:

• a dispensing device (14) comprising at least two reservoirs (28) and at least one dispensing nozzle (26), each of the reservoirs (28) comprising a distinct cosmetic formulation and being capable of being connected to the dispensing nozzle (26 ), And
• a pocket (12) comprising a filling opening (16), a first (18) and a second (20) compartments and at least one passageway (21) fluidly connecting the first compartment (18) with the second compartment (20) ), the passageway (21) comprising at least one chicane (22);

characterized in that the filling opening (16) of the pocket (12) is arranged opposite the dispensing nozzle (26), the dispensing device (14) being arranged to distribute each of the cosmetic formulations directly into the pocket (12) through the distribution nozzle (26),
the pocket (12) being configured to receive a pressure force from outside the pocket (12), the pressure force being capable of generating a flow in the baffle (22) of cosmetic formulations distributed in a first direction ( S1) then in a second opposite direction (S2), so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product, the first direction (S1) going from one of the first compartment (18) and the second compartment (20) to the other of the first compartment (18) and the second compartment (20). Assembly (10) according to claim 1, in which the dispensing device (14) and/or the bag (12) is provided with a mixing element (36, 60) capable of exerting the pressure force from the exterior of the pocket (12). Assembly (10) according to claim 2, in which the mixing element (36) comprises at least one support element (38) movable alternately between a first position, in which the support element (38) is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment (18) and a second position, in which the support element (38) is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment (20). Assembly (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, the pocket (12) comprises an end piece (64) secured to the pocket (12) and defining an interior passage (66) capable of connecting the filling opening ( 16) from the pocket (12) to the dispensing nozzle (26) of the dispensing device (14), the tip (64) being able to distribute the homogeneous cosmetic product through the internal passage (66). Assembly (10) according to claim 8, wherein the end piece (64) comprises a plug (70) intended to removably close the interior passage (66). Assembly (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which an interior volume (24) of the pocket (12) comprising the first compartment (18), the second compartment (20) and the baffle (22) opens exclusively through the filling opening (16), an additional opening being able to be provided on the bag (12). Process for preparing a cosmetic product comprising:

• a step of providing an assembly (10) according to any one of the preceding claims,
• a step of filling the first compartment (18) by distributing each of the cosmetic formulations through the dispensing nozzle (26) placed opposite the filling opening (16),
• a mixing step, in which a pressure force is exerted from outside the pocket (12) so as to generate at least one flow in the baffle (22) of cosmetic formulations distributed alternately in the first direction (S1) then in the second opposite direction (S2), so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product.

Method according to claim 11, in which, after filling the first compartment (18) with the cosmetic formulations, the second compartment (20) remains empty before mixing. Method according to claim 11 or 12, comprising closing the filling opening (16) after filling the first compartment (18) with the cosmetic formulations.
