Abstract
La présente invention concerne un pneumatique (1) dont l’armature de sommet (20) est simplifiée par rapport à des conceptions usuelles. L’armature de sommet (20) comporte au moins deux couches de travail (22), formées par un enroulement circonférentiel en spirale d’une bande complexe (21) autour de l’armature de carcasse (40), ladite bande complexe (21) étant formée de deux couches de renforts continus passant d’une couche à l’autre, lesdits renforts étant parallèles dans une couche et croisés d’une couche à l’autre avec des angles par rapport à la direction circonférentielle identiques en valeur absolue. La distance radiale entre les centres de deux renforts adjacents d’une première couche radialement intérieure et d’une deuxième couche radialement extérieure de la bande complexe (21) est inférieure à une fois et demi du diamètre d’un renfort desdites couches. La largeur axiale d’une bande complexe est comprise dans l’intervalle [25mm ; 40mm]. Figure de l’abrégé : figure 1-A
