Description
The invention concerns front facades which are intended to equip vehicles.
Certain vehicles, generally of the automobile type, include a front facade comprising an upper crossmember to which is secured, in particular, a bumper. More precisely, the front facade comprises an upper crossmember to which a bumper frame is coupled and a lower bumper crossmember to which a bumper skin is secured.
In certain vehicles, the coupling of the bumper frame to the upper cross member turns out to be relatively complex, which makes it relatively time-consuming to carry out and learn, and in addition can sometimes cause damage to parts already installed requiring a expensive and time-consuming replacement. Indeed, the bumper frame comprises in the rear part of its upper wall two right and left openings under which are respectively placed horizontal parts of two first coupling lugs which define housings for two second right and right coupling lugs. left defined in an upper part of the upper crosspiece and projecting towards the rear. The phase of coupling the bumper frame to the upper cross member then requires the placement of the bumper frame above the upper cross member, then rotating the front part upwards. the bumper frame, then a downward translation of the latter until the two openings of its upper wall are crossed by the free rear ends of the second corresponding coupling lugs, then the rotation drive towards the bottom of the front part of the bumper frame, then a forward translation of the bumper frame until the free rear ends of the second coupling tabs are wedged substantially at the bottom of the two corresponding accommodations.
The invention therefore aims in particular to improve the situation, and more precisely to simplify the coupling of the bumper frame to the upper crossmember.
For this purpose, it notably offers a front facade suitable for equipping a vehicle and comprising an upper crossmember to which a bumper frame is coupled.
This front facade is characterized by the fact that:
Thus, it is now possible to couple the bumper frame to the upper crossmember by carrying out only one translation of the bumper frame towards the upper crossmember, which is particularly simple to learn and to carried out and, moreover, very little time consuming.
The front facade according to the invention may include other characteristics which can be taken separately or in combination, and in particular:
- dans un premier mode de réalisation, son armature de pare-chocs peut comprendre deux logements de couplage définis respectivement de part et d’autre et à une même distance d’un plan médian perpendiculaire à une direction transversale, et sa traverse supérieure peut comprendre deux premières pattes de couplage définies respectivement de part et d’autre et à une même distance de ce plan médian et au moins partiellement logées respectivement dans ces logements de couplage, après une translation vers ces premières pattes de couplage de l’armature de pare-chocs ;- in a first embodiment, its bumper frame may comprise two coupling housings defined respectively on either side and at the same distance from a median plane perpendicular to a transverse direction, and its upper crosspiece may comprise two first coupling tabs defined respectively on either side and at the same distance from this median plane and at least partially housed respectively in these coupling housings, after a translation towards these first coupling tabs of the bumper frame shocks;
- dans un deuxième mode de réalisation, son armature de pare-chocs peut comprendre un unique logement de couplage défini dans une position centrée par rapport à une direction transversale, et sa traverse supérieure peut comprendre deux premières pattes de couplage définies respectivement de part et d’autre et à une même distance d’un plan médian perpendiculaire à une direction transversale et au moins partiellement logées respectivement dans ce logement de couplage, après une translation vers ces premières pattes de couplage de l’armature de pare-chocs ;- in a second embodiment, its bumper frame may comprise a single coupling housing defined in a centered position relative to a transverse direction, and its upper cross member may comprise two first coupling lugs defined respectively on either side and d another and at the same distance from a median plane perpendicular to a transverse direction and at least partially housed respectively in this coupling housing, after a translation towards these first coupling tabs of the bumper frame;
- dans un troisième mode de réalisation, son armature de pare-chocs peut comprendre un unique logement de couplage défini dans une position centrée par rapport à une direction transversale, et sa traverse supérieure peut comprendre une unique première patte de couplage définie dans une position centrée par rapport à cette direction transversale et au moins partiellement logée dans cet unique logement de couplage, après une translation vers cette première patte de couplage de l’armature de pare-chocs ;- in a third embodiment, its bumper frame may comprise a single coupling housing defined in a centered position relative to a transverse direction, and its upper crosspiece may comprise a single first coupling tab defined in a centered position relative to this transverse direction and at least partially housed in this single coupling housing, after a translation towards this first coupling tab of the bumper frame;
- chaque logement de couplage peut être défini entre une face inférieure d’une paroi supérieure de l’armature de pare-chocs et une seconde patte de couplage solidarisée fixement à cette face inférieure et destinée à se projeter vers l’extrémité arrière du véhicule ;- each coupling housing can be defined between a lower face of an upper wall of the bumper frame and a second coupling lug fixedly secured to this lower face and intended to project towards the rear end of the vehicle;

- sa traverse supérieure peut comprendre au moins une patte de calage propre à assurer un calage de l’armature de pare-chocs suivant une direction verticale ;- its upper cross member may include at least one wedging tab capable of ensuring wedging of the bumper frame in a vertical direction;
The invention also proposes a vehicle, possibly of the automobile type, and comprising a front facade of the type presented above.
D’autres caractéristiques et avantages de l’invention apparaîtront à l’examen de la description détaillée ci-après, et des dessins annexés (obtenus en CAO/DAO (« Conception Assistée par Ordinateur/Dessin Assisté par Ordinateur »)), sur lesquels :Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on examination of the detailed description below, and the appended drawings (obtained in CAD/CAD (“Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Drawing”)), on which :
The invention aims in particular to propose a front facade FV intended to equip a vehicle and in which the phase of coupling the bumper frame AP to the upper crossmember TS is simplified.
We consider in what follows, by way of non-limiting example, that the front facade FV is intended to be part of an automobile type vehicle, such as for example a car. But the invention is not limited to this type of vehicle. Indeed, the FV front fascia can be fitted to any type of vehicle with a front bumper.
In what precedes and follows the notions of “front” and “rear” are defined in relation to the front and rear ends of a vehicle. Consequently, a front part of an element is intended to be oriented towards the front of a vehicle, while a rear part of an element is intended to be oriented towards the rear of this same vehicle.
As illustrated, a front facade FV, according to the invention, notably comprises an upper crossmember TS, intended to be installed in a transverse direction of a vehicle (perpendicular to the lateral or longitudinal sides), and a bumper frame AP, coupled to this upper crosspiece TS during a coupling phase described later.
On notera que le pare-chocs comprend généralement, en complément de son armature de pare-chocs AP, une traverse inférieure de pare-chocs (non représentée), également couplée à la traverse supérieure TS (sous cette dernière (TS)), et une peau de pare-chocs (non représentée) qui est solidarisée fixement à l’armature de pare-chocs AP et à la traverse inférieure de pare-chocs et masque ces dernières (AP) ainsi que la traverse supérieure TS.Note that the bumper generally comprises, in addition to its bumper frame AP, a lower bumper cross member (not shown), also coupled to the upper cross member TS (under the latter (TS)), and a bumper skin (not shown) which is fixedly secured to the bumper frame AP and to the lower bumper cross member and hides the latter (AP) as well as the upper cross member TS.
It will be understood that thanks to this arrangement of the bumper frame AP and the upper cross member TS, the coupling phase now only includes a single operation consisting of translating the bumper frame AP towards the upper crosspiece TS, until each first coupling tab PC1 is at least partially housed in the corresponding coupling housing LC. This coupling phase is therefore particularly simple to learn and carry out and, moreover, is very time-efficient. In addition, it avoids damaging parts already installed in the environment of the front FV facade and therefore having to carry out expensive and time-consuming replacements.
At least three embodiments of the bumper frame AP and the upper crossmember TS can be considered to allow the coupling of the latter (AP, TS).
In a first embodiment at least partially illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, the bumper frame AP may comprise two coupling housings LC and the upper crossmember TS may comprise two first coupling lugs PC1. The two LC coupling housings are defined respectively on either side of a median plane perpendicular to a transverse direction and at the same distance from this median plane. Note that in a vehicle the median plane is defined by the vertical and longitudinal directions. The first two coupling lugs PC1 are also defined respectively on either side of the median plane and at the same distance from this median plane, and are at least partially housed respectively in the coupling housings LC, after translation towards them ( PC1) of the AP bumper frame.
In this first embodiment, the coupling phase therefore consists of translating the bumper frame AP towards the upper crossmember TS, until the first two coupling tabs PC1 are at least partially housed respectively in the two corresponding LC coupling housings.
In a second embodiment, not illustrated and constituting a variant of the first embodiment, the bumper frame AP may comprise a single coupling housing LC and the upper crossmember TS may comprise two first coupling lugs PC1. The single LC coupling housing is defined in a position centered in relation to the transverse direction of the vehicle and therefore in relation to the aforementioned median plane. The first two coupling lugs PC1 are defined respectively on either side of the median plane (perpendicular to the transverse direction of the vehicle) and at the same distance from this median plane, and are at least partially housed respectively in the coupling housing LC, after a translation towards them (PC1) of the bumper frame AP.
In this second embodiment, the coupling phase therefore consists of translating the bumper frame AP towards the upper crossmember TS, until the first two coupling tabs PC1 are at least partially housed in the housing of common LC coupling.
In a third embodiment (not illustrated), the bumper frame AP may comprise a single coupling housing LC and the upper crossmember TS may comprise a single first coupling lug PC1. The single LC coupling housing is defined in a position centered in relation to the transverse direction of the vehicle, and therefore in relation to the aforementioned median plane. The single first coupling tab PC1 is defined in a position centered with respect to the transverse direction and therefore with respect to the aforementioned median plane, and is at least partially housed in this single coupling housing LC, after a translation towards it (PC1 ) of the AP bumper frame.
In this third embodiment, the coupling phase therefore consists of translating the bumper frame AP towards the upper crossmember TS, until the first coupling tab PC1 is at least partially housed in the coupling housing LC.
It will be noted that the use of two first PC1 coupling lugs of “medium” size can make it possible to reduce the weight of the upper cross member TS compared to the use of a single first PC1 coupling lug of “large” size and /or to better distribute the weight of the bumper frame AP which is supported by this upper crossmember TS.
For example, and as illustrated at least partially in Figures 2 and 3, each coupling housing LC can be defined between the lower face FI of an upper wall PS1 of the bumper frame AP and a second coupling tab PC2 which is fixedly attached to this lower face FI and intended to project towards the rear end of the vehicle. In this case, each opening OL, which allows the (relative) introduction of a first coupling tab PC1 into the corresponding coupling housing LC, is defined at the level of the free (rear) end of the coupling tab PC2 corresponding.
Mais d’autres formes peuvent être envisagées, et notamment une forme en C.It will also be noted, as illustrated without limitation in Figures 2 and 3, that each first coupling tab PC1 can, for example, have a section (in the median plane) in the shape of an inverted L. But other shapes can be considered, including a C shape.
For example, each first coupling tab PC1 can be defined on the upper face FS of an upper wall PS2 of the upper crosspiece TS, as illustrated without limitation in Figures 2 and 3.
It will also be noted, as illustrated without limitation in Figures 2 and 3, that the upper crossmember TS can also include at least one PCL wedging tab capable of ensuring wedging of the bumper frame AP in the vertical direction of the vehicle. . In this case, each PCL wedging tab is intended to project towards the front end of the vehicle and may include an upper end portion on which the bumper frame AP rests (possibly at the level of a corresponding second PC2 coupling tab). This option is intended to pre-position the bumper frame AP in the vertical direction before each LC coupling housing reaches the first corresponding PC1 coupling tab and in such a way that each first PC1 coupling tab is placed in the axis of the corresponding opening OL to be housed without adjustment in its coupling housing LC. In addition, this helps prevent vibrations.
