Abstract
L’invention concerne un procédé de modification chimique d’une pièce polymérique en vue de lui conférer des propriétés ignifuges ou améliorer celles-ci, ledit procédé comprenant une étape de réaction covalente d’une pièce polymérique comprenant au moins un polymère comprenant, comme groupes réactifs, des groupes amides –NH-CO- et/ou des groupes hydroxyles -OH, avec un composé ignifugeant de la famille des dihalogénures d’alkylphosphonique ou d’arylphosphonique, ledit composé réagissant avec tout ou partie desdits groupes réactifs.The invention relates to a process for chemically modifying a polymeric part with a view to giving it flame-retardant properties or improving them, said process comprising a step of covalent reaction of a polymeric part comprising at least one polymer comprising, as groups reactive groups, -NH-CO- amide groups and/or -OH hydroxyl groups, with a flame-retardant compound from the family of alkylphosphonic or arylphosphonic dihalides, said compound reacting with all or part of said reactive groups.
