L’invention concerne dispositif de stéréovision d’un récipient translucide à chaud. Le dispositif de stéréovision (2) comprend un capteur (4) de distance chromatique, un capteur (6) optique infrarouge, une unité de contrôle (8) comprenant un module de mémorisation (24) intégrant une base de données et un procédé de contrôle mettant en œuvre les étapes suivantes : mesure par l’unité de contrôle (8), à travers le capteur (4) de distance chromatique, d’une distance (E’) entre le capteur (4) et un récipient (34) ;mesure par le module de calcul (26), à travers le capteur (6) optique infrarouge, du positionnement (P’) et d’une mesure de dimension (D’) du récipient (34) ;identification à partir de la base de données d’une valeur (R) corrélée aux mesures (E’, P’, D’) réalisées aux étapes i et ii ; identification d’un défaut du récipient (34).
