Description
The invention relates to a concrete tank provided with an RFID tag, to a method for reading an RFID tag in such a tank and to a method for manufacturing such a concrete tank.
It is conventional to use concrete tanks which are buried in the ground, in particular for the flow of rainwater or waste water. Once buried, a concrete tank is no longer visible, which poses some difficulties in managing monitoring operations, particularly for tank maintenance. It is known to integrate an RFID tag at the top of a concrete tank to facilitate its detection under a few centimeters of ground.
Document US 7,777,628 proposes installing an RFID reader on top of a concrete tank. It is also known from documents KR101331873B1, KR200437024Y1 and KR20200005205A to install an RFID tag in the cover of a concrete tank. A hole is formed in the outer face or in the inner face of the cover and an RFID tag encapsulated in a protective element is mounted on the cover. Once the cover has been formed with dry concrete, it is also proposed to form a hole in the cover to insert the RFID tag. All these solutions propose to identify a concrete tank by means of its cover. Unfortunately, covers age faster and/or are damaged more often, which limits the interest of an RFID tag attached to the cover. To track a concrete tank, tracking the hood is not a good solution.
It is common to use tanks made of different concretes. The tanks differ between them on the number of inlets and outlets, on the orientation of the flows inside the concrete tank. Once the concrete tank has been exposed, to go and check the type of tank in place, it is traditional to go down into the tank to check the type of tank, which is the cause of an accident.
Document US 8,149,121 proposes to encapsulate an RFID tag in a protection element made of polyamide resin reinforced with glass fibers. Document US 8,807,873 describes a process for repairing a wall of a tank. The process proposes to deposit a layer of resin cover inside the tank in order to repair it. These solutions are not advantageous because they require making the concrete tank, drying the concrete and then covering the internal face of the tank with a resin or another layer, which requires two successive operations. This setup is very expensive.
It is also proposed to fix on the inner wall of the concrete tank, in the immediate vicinity of the opening of the cover, a box receiving an RFID tag. Again, this requires one or more additional operations which have a cost and which do not ensure the non-degradation of the RFID tag.
Objet de l'inventionObject of the invention
An object of the invention consists in providing a concrete tank which ensures the correct reading of an RFID tag, preferably up to about 5 meters deep and while remaining simple to implement.
We tend to achieve this result by means of a concrete tank which includes:
- a bottom made of concrete,
- a side wall extending from the bottom in a first direction to form a receptacle, the side wall being made of concrete and extending over a height of at least one meter from the bottom,
- A closure cap separated from the bottom by the side wall and defining an opening.
The concrete tank is remarkable in that it comprises an RFID tag enclosed in a liquid-tight radome, the radome being mounted flush with the bottom or embedded in the bottom, the RFID tag having at least one antenna disposed at a lower depth 100 mm from the bottom surface.
In a particular embodiment, the bottom of the radome is covered by a metal layer forming a reflector, the reflector being separated from the opening of the cover by at least one antenna.
Advantageously, the direction of the antenna is perpendicular to the first direction.
Preferably, the RFID tag comprises a symmetrical antenna with two planar strands, the respective directions of which define an antenna plane perpendicular to the first direction.
In a particular embodiment, which the bottom defines at least one trench. The RFID tag is outside the trench and is offset by a first distance relative to a side edge of the trench less than 40 mm, the trench having a depth at least equal to 20 mm and having first and second opposite ends.
In a preferred embodiment, the at least one trench is a trench intended for the circulation of a liquid and the first and second opposite ends open into two separate through orifices in the side wall.
De manière avantageuse, l’étiquette RFID est disposée respectivement à des première et deuxième distances des première et deuxième extrémités de la au moins une tranchée, les première et deuxième extrémités débouchant dans deux portions distinctes de la paroi latérale, le rapport entre les première et deuxième distances étant compris entre 0,8 et 1,2.Advantageously, the RFID tag is placed respectively at first and second distances from the first and second ends of the at least one trench, the first and second ends opening out into two separate portions of the side wall, the ratio between the first and second distances being between 0.8 and 1.2.
La direction de l’antenne est parallèle à la direction longitudinale de la tranchée, la première distance étant comprise entre 5 mm et 40 mm.In a particular embodiment, the at least one trench is a rectilinear trench extending from one edge of the bottom to the other. The direction of the antenna is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the trench, the first distance being between 5 mm and 40 mm.
It is advantageous to provide that the at least one trench is curved and in which the RFID tag is placed in the concave part of the at least one trench.
Préférentiellement, l’étiquette RFID est orientée pour que la direction de son antenne soit parallèle à une tangente à la bordure latérale de la tranchée, la première distance étant comprise entre 5 mm et 40 mm.Preferably, the RFID tag is oriented so that the direction of its antenna is parallel to a tangent to the side edge of the trench, the first distance being between 5 mm and 40 mm.
In an advantageous embodiment, the RFID tag is equidistant from the two ends of the trench.
The invention also relates to a method for reading an RFID tag which ensures good reading quality in a concrete tank without having to develop a new concrete tank architecture. We tend to solve this problem by means of a method of reading an RFID tag comprising the following steps:
- fournir une cuve en béton selon l’une quelconque des configurations précédentes et un lecteur d’étiquette RFID ;
- lire l’étiquette RFID au moyen du lecteur d’étiquette RFID, le lecteur d’étiquette RFID étant disposé hors de la cuve en béton face à l’ouverture du capot et face au fond.- provide a concrete tank according to any of the preceding configurations and an RFID tag reader;
- read the RFID tag by means of the RFID tag reader, the RFID tag reader being arranged outside the concrete tank facing the opening of the cover and facing the bottom.
The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a concrete tank which is simple to implement and which makes it possible to reuse the existing molds while ensuring good reading of an RFID tag. There is a tendency to solve this problem by means of a method for manufacturing a concrete tank according to any one of the preceding configurations, comprising the following steps:
- provide a mould, concrete before setting and an RFID tag,
- place the RFID tag in the part of the mold intended to define the bottom of the concrete tank while the concrete is still in the liquid state or before pouring the concrete
- let the concrete set.
