Abstract

L’invention se rapporte à un procédé d’optimisation de la détermination de la distance d’une cible par rapport à un radar à codage de phase en mode pulsé, le procédé comprenant : a) générer une séquence d'impulsions d'émission comprenant une pluralité d’impulsions d’émission (Imp1, Imp2), chaque impulsion d’émission (Imp1, Imp2) comprenant une pluralité de groupes de sous-impulsions (Si1, Si2, Si3) ; b) émettre ladite pluralité de groupes de sous-impulsions (Si1, Si2, Si3) de façon non contigüe ; c) recevoir au moins certaines desdites impulsions émises (Imp1, Imp2), et effectuer une concaténation desdits groupes de sous-impulsions (Si1, Si2, Si3), ce qui fournit une pluralité d’impulsions concaténées (IC) selon le schéma de codage de phase ; d) calculer une fonction de corrélation entre chaque impulsion d’émission (Imp1, Imp2) et l'impulsion concaténée correspondante (IC), ladite fonction de corrélation présentant au moins un pic ; e) déterminer la distance d’une cible par rapport audit radar à partir de la position dudit pic dans la fonction de corrélation.
