Description

Set of packaging and preparation of a cosmetic product

The present invention relates to an assembly for packaging and preparing a cosmetic product by mixing at least two compositions, and more specifically, a product used for bleaching and/or coloring hair.

Certain cosmetic products, such as those used for hair coloring, require preparation at the time of use by mixing several compositions, the compositions having to be packaged separately beforehand.

Thus, oxidation hair coloring is conventionally prepared by mixing two compositions, namely an oxidant and a dye, generally just before application to the hair, the mixing preferably being done manually until good homogeneity is obtained. of the product.

Hair coloring sets or “kits” are known, comprising several compositions packaged separately within a cardboard box. Such packaging is not used for the preparation of the product as such.

A reusable bowl-type container is generally used to perform the mixing. The disadvantage of such a practice is that the container is not necessarily well suited to the preparation of the product, particularly in terms of ease of use or resistance to different compositions, and that it must subsequently be carefully wash.

It is also known, to prepare a product by mixing compositions, to use a packaging of said compositions to carry out the preparation.

Application EP0839736A1 thus describes a packaging comprising a bottom and a lid, the lid being usable as a container for preparing a mixture of two compositions for hair coloring, one of the compositions being kept in a capsule housed in a thermoformed bottom and the other in the lid before use. The bottom and the lid are made of plastic in order to resist durably the compositions. The low height of the lid makes mixing difficult to perform due to the risk of overflow.

Application FR2721286 describes a pot serving as packaging for two containers, this pot comprising a body and a lid adapted to hermetically close the body. One of the containers has a ball which is used to homogenize the mixture after pouring the compositions into the pot and sealing the latter. Sampling is done using a brush.

Application KR102160891 discloses a facial mask kit comprising an “ice pot” type container containing two compositions enclosed in sachets, the mask being able to be prepared by mixing the contents of the sachets with water directly in the container. The compositions produce when mixed an effervescence which allows spontaneous and rapid incorporation of the ingredients. The shape of the container is not specifically designed to facilitate manual mixing and/or to be able to effectively capture the preparation with one's hand at the bottom of the container for application.

Application FR2506268 describes a bucket of square section serving as packaging for compositions for tanning animal skins contained in bottles and/or sachets and intended to be mixed extemporaneously, using a spatula. A wedging material is placed in the bucket to hold the bottles or sachets in place. Such a device is greatly oversized for the quantities usually used by a person to dye their hair.

There is a need to further improve the devices for packaging and preparing a product in order to have a compact assembly, the dimensions of which are determined so as to facilitate the mixing of the compositions constituting the product, and its application, in particular when this is done by hand. There is also still an interest in benefiting from a device limiting the use of plastic materials.

The invention aims to meet this objective and has as its object, according to one of its aspects, an assembly for packaging and preparing a cosmetic product, in particular a hair dye, occupying a volume V, comprising:

• at least two containers each containing at least one composition, the compositions being intended to be mixed during the preparation of the product, to produce the volume V of product,
• a container-mixer pot made at least partially of cardboard and able to entirely contain said containers,

the pot having a base of internal area S, the ratio V/S of the volume V of product to the area S of the base of the pot being between 8 and 30 mm.

The pot preferably has an interior height not exceeding 125 mm, better still not exceeding 110 mm. The interior height may in particular be between 50 and 110 mm.

The invention offers a satisfactory compromise between various contradictory requirements, namely dimensions making it possible on the one hand to limit the risk of overflow and on the other hand guaranteeing a sufficient level of product in the pot to facilitate its homogenization and access to the hand at the bottom of the jar to remove the product.

In addition, such a pot has an interior volume making it possible to accommodate all the constituents of the assembly with a good filling rate of the pot, which avoids having to provide special wedging means.

The use of cardboard reduces the amount of plastic material, and the pot can be single-use, which avoids the need for extensive water-consuming cleaning.

Jar

The pot is preferably of circular section, with an inside diameter preferably between 80 and 105 mm, better still between 90 and 95 mm. By "inner diameter" it is necessary to understand when the section is non-circular the equivalent diameter of a fictitious circular section of the same area.

The volume V occupied by the product is preferably between 70 and 150 mL, more preferably between 95 and 125 mL. Each composition can be present in the pot in a volume ranging from 40 to 75 mL.

The compositions to be mixed comprise, for example, an oxidation dye and a coloring oxidant.

The mixing can be carried out without adding water, the product preferably resulting from the mere mixing of the compositions, without adding an additional compound not initially present in the pot, in particular without adding water.

The set may include a lid arranged to be fixed on the pot.

The cover can also be made of cardboard. The attachment of the lid to the jar does not have to be airtight.

The pot material can be in any carton suitable to hold the mixture for the time required for application. The pot can thus be made in a cardboard box resistant to the mixing of the compositions for at least 30 minutes, better still at least 2 hours. “Cardboard” refers to a material mainly composed of fibers of vegetable origin, in particular wood fibers. The cardboard may comprise on its internal face a coating and/or a lamination intended to reduce its porosity and to improve its behavior vis-à-vis the product. The cardboard may include on its outer face at least one coating intended to improve its surface appearance and/or its printability. By “resistant” it should be understood that the mixture remains usable without making it more difficult to handle the pot or cause the mixture to lose its desired properties.

The V/S ratio can be between 13 and 20 mm, preferably between 15.0 and 18.5 mm. The V/S ratio roughly corresponds to the height of the mixture when the draft angle is low.

The pot can have a clearance angle α of between 0° and 10° inclusive, preferably between 1 and 5° (inclusive), in particular between 3° and 4°.

Assembly components

The pot contains the compositions to be mixed to obtain the product.

It can be a dye and an oxidant, to produce a coloring oxidant.

The jar may also contain at least one of:

• a spatula to stir the mixture,
• gloves,
• a user manual, for example folded in a string,
• one or more compositions to be applied after performing the coloring, for example a care composition, a developer, a fixer, or a shampoo.

The spatula can be made of wood, compressed palm or banana leaf, or even folded cardboard of the same nature as the pot, if the latter is made of cardboard.

The instructions for use are, for example, round, square or rectangular.

The compositions to be mixed can be packaged in a sachet, in a tube or in a bottle.

The bag can be a flat bag or a self-supporting bag, called "Doypack" (registered trademark).

The bag may or may not include a dispensing tip provided with a screw cap.

The flat sachet can be folded when contained in the jar, preferably folded substantially at mid-length.

Different arrangements of the constituents of the assembly within the pot are possible.

The compositions to be mixed can be contained in sachets, preferably self-supporting sachets, the sachets being placed against diametrically opposite zones of the inner surface of the pot, a sachet comprising a care composition being interposed between the sachets of the coloring compositions.

In a variant, the compositions to be mixed are contained in sachets which are folded in a V substantially at mid-length and nested one inside the other when they are contained in the pot.

In another variant, a composition is contained in a sachet, preferably a flat sachet, the sachet being shaped like a U so as to accommodate between the branches of the U and against the inside of the fold a bottle containing another composition.

A further subject of the invention is a method for using the assembly for packaging and preparing a cosmetic hair product as defined above, the method comprising the steps consisting of:

• extract the components packaged inside the jar,
• pour the compositions into the jar and proceed to mix them,
• take the product obtained by mixing, preferably with the fingers, and apply it to human keratin materials, in particular the hair.

We represented at the an assembly 1 in accordance with the invention, comprising a pot 10 serving as packaging for several constituents, represented schematically, namely:

• a first composition 2, for example an oxidation dye, preferably packaged in a sachet, a tube or a bottle,
• a second composition 3 to be mixed with the first, for example a coloring oxidant, preferably packaged in a sachet, a tube or a bottle,
• a pair of gloves 4,
• a user manual 5,
• a mixing spatula 6,
• a care composition 7, optional, for example packaged in a sachet, in a tube or in a bottle.

Compositions 2 and 3 form, after having been poured into pot 10, a total volume V of hair product.

This volume V occupies a height A in pot 10, as illustrated in .

When mixing compositions 2 and 3 while stirring with a spatula, a small volume v of mixture typically wets a height B of the wall of the pot above the level of the mixture at rest.

The remaining height C is such that the interior height H=A+B+C is between 50 and 110mm.

We have for example B between 10 and 50 mm and C between 32 and 60 mm.

The inside diameter D of the base of the pot 10 is for example between 80 and 105 mm, ie an inside area S of the base approximately between 50 and 87 cm ² .

The pot 10 has a body 13 of generally frustoconical shape, with a draft angle α of between 2 and 4°.

We have for example A substantially equal to V/S (for a low clearance angle α) and between 8 and 30 mm, ie a volume V between 70 and 150 mm ³ .

The pot 10 is made of a cardboard material, with for example in the upper part, as illustrated in , a rolled edge 11 to increase its rigidity.

The pot 10 may include an attached bottom 12, also made of cardboard material, having an inverted U-shaped cross-section, glued by its periphery to the body 13. The diameter D is that measured inside the pot at its base, that is that is to say at the level of the wall of the added bottom. The interior height H of the pot corresponds to the distance between the bottom 12 and the plane resting on the upper edge of the pot 10.

The tapered shape of the pot 10 makes it possible to stack them, as illustrated in .

The assembly comprises a lid 20 for closing the pot 10, also made of cardboard material.

Each composition 2 or 3 can be packaged in a sachet 30, which can be a flat sachet, as illustrated in . In such a sachet, the opening is effected for example by cutting the sachet.

Such a sachet is for example of dimensions 90 mm×160 mm.

The packaging can also be carried out in a bag 40 provided with a threaded end piece 41, as illustrated in , on which is screwed a cap 42. Such a bag is for example of dimensions 70 mm×80 mm.

The packaging can also be carried out in a self-supporting sachet 50 of the "Doypack" type (registered trademark), as illustrated in , for example of dimensions 90 mm x 100 mm, or in a bottle 60, as illustrated in .

The packaging can also be carried out in a tube 70, as illustrated in .

A description will now be given with reference to FIGS. 6A to 6C of various possibilities, among others, of arrangements of the constituents of the assembly within the pot 10.

In the example of the , the compositions 2 and 3 are contained in sachets 71 and 72, for example self-supporting, which are arranged against diametrically opposite zones of the inner surface of the pot 10, and a sachet 73, for example a sachet with a tip fitted with a screw cap, containing a care composition, is interposed between the sachets 71 and 72, thus ensuring their wedging.

In the example of the , the compositions 2 and 3 are contained in sachets 81 and 82 which are folded in a V substantially at mid-length and nested one inside the other, a sachet 83, for example comprising a tip provided with a screw cap, containing for example a care composition, being placed between the hollow of the sachet 82 and the wall of the jar, to immobilize the sachets in the jar. The back of the bag 81 rests against the wall of the pot 10, opposite the bag 83.

In the examples of Figures 6A and 6B, a pair of gloves 4 and a notice 5 (not shown) can be added on top.

In the example of the , the composition 2 is contained in a sachet 91, for example a flat sachet, which is for example shaped in a U to accommodate between the branches of the U and against the inside of the fold a bottle 92 containing for example the composition 3, for example a generally cylindrical bottle. A care composition is for example contained in a bottle 93, arranged between the branches of the U opposite the bottle 92.

Of course, the invention is not limited to these examples of arrangements, and the various containers containing the compositions to be mixed and other constituents of the assembly can be arranged in another way in the pot.

To use the assembly, the user removes the lid 3 and extracts the components packaged inside the pot 10.

He can open the containers containing compositions 2 and 3 in order to carry out a test touch, and/or a test of non-allergic reaction in a conventional manner.

Then, he pours compositions 2 and 3 into the pot and proceeds to mix them, possibly with the help of a spatula provided.

Once a homogeneous mixture has been obtained, the user can take up the composition, for example with the fingers if its consistency allows it, and apply it to the hair.

The dimensions of the pot 10 make it possible to carry out the mixing in complete safety with regard to a possible risk of overflowing due to the available height B+C, to have a sufficient mixing height A to manage to stir efficiently the compositions, and to easily access the bottom of the pot with the hand to take the product until exhaustion.

Many modifications can be made to the invention without departing from its scope. For example, the shape of the pot can be modified, in particular the way of making the reinforcement in the upper part, or the way of arranging the constituents of the assembly inside the pot.

It is also possible to use a pot whose base is not circular, in particular a pot with a substantially rectangular base as illustrated in , or having rounded edges as shown in .

The rectangular base is for example of dimensions 90mm×70mm, which is substantially equivalent to a circular base with a diameter of 90 mm.

Claims (17)

Set (1) for packaging and preparing a cosmetic product, in particular a hair dye, occupying a volume V, set comprising:

• at least two containers (30; 40; 50; 60) each containing at least one composition (2.3), the compositions being intended to be mixed during the preparation of the product, to produce the volume V of product,
• a pot-container-mixer (10) made at least partially of cardboard which can entirely contain said containers,

the pot having a base of internal area S, the ratio V/S of the volume V of product to the area S of the base of the pot being between 8 and 30 mm. Assembly according to claim 1, the pot having an internal height (H) not exceeding 125 mm, preferably not exceeding 110 mm, preferably between 50 and 110 mm.
