Dispositif métrologique autonome (100) destiné à calculer un coût associé à l’utilisation d’un véhicule (1) pour effectuer un trajet, comportant : - un premier module électronique (10) d’acquisition de données qui est adapté à communiquer par un réseau sans fil (11) avec au moins un dispositif externe (5) au véhicule pour acquérir une première valeur d’au moins une donnée spatio-temporelle du véhicule sur un intervalle de temps donné, - un deuxième module électronique (20) d’acquisition de données qui comporte des moyens de connexion (21) avec au moins un dispositif interne (2) au véhicule pour acquérir une deuxième valeur de ladite au moins une donnée spatio-temporelle du véhicule sur ledit intervalle de temps donné, et - une unité de calcul (30) qui reçoit les valeurs acquises par les premier et deuxième modules et qui est apte : à sélectionner, parmi les première et deuxième valeurs, la valeur de ladite donnée spatio-temporelle du véhicule à prendre en compte dans le calcul du coût du trajet, et à calculer le coût du trajet en fonction de ladite valeur sélectionnée.
