Abstract

L’invention se rapporte à un composé boré propre à servir de vecteur à une séparation isotopique du bore, notamment par centrifugation gazeuse en cascade, et qui, une fois enrichi en 10B ou en 11B, peut aisément être converti en d’autres composés borés tels que l’acide borique. Ce composé répond à la formule (I) ci-après : (I)dans laquelle R représente un groupe alkyle ou alkoxy, linéaire ou ramifié, en C1 à C4. L’invention se rapporte également à la synthèse du composé de formule (I) ainsi qu’à son enrichissement en 10B ou en 11B. Elle se rapporte en outre à la conversion du composé de formule (I) enrichi en 10B ou en 11B en acide borique. Applications : notamment industrie nucléaire (fabrication de matériaux de blindage neutronique, de systèmes de détection neutronique, de dispositifs de contrôle de la réactivité des réacteurs, etc) et médecine nucléaire.
