Abstract

Dispositif éolien d’aide à la propulsion et à la navigation des navires de commerce. L’invention concerne une tour verticale éolienne sur base pivotante sur 360° constituée d’un carénage renfermant une turbine dont la rotation permet en toutes circonstances la production d’électricité activant les moteurs de propulsion des navires de commerce. Le carénage vertical (1) est pourvu de 3 déflecteurs (2) ayant pour rôle de détourner le souffle négatif du vent freinant la rotation de la turbine et de le transformer en flux d’air positif. L’efficacité du dispositif repose sur la rotation de 360° de l’ensemble carénage-turbine gérée par les informations de la station météorologique transmises à l’unité de gestion électronique permettant l’orientation automatique face au vent du carénage, ce qui conserve à la turbine toute son efficacité, quelle que soit la direction du vent ou le changement de cap du navire.
