L’invention concerne un système catalytique à base au moins d’un métallocène de terre rare et à titre de co-catalyseur d’un organomagnésien de formule X-Mg-RA-Mg- X, RA étant une chaîne divalente hydrocarbonée aliphatique, interrompue ou non par un atome d’oxygène, un atome de soufre ou par un groupe arylène, X étant un atome d’halogène. Il permet la synthèse de polymères diéniques et/ou éthyléniques téléchéliques.
