Ce dispositif d’estimation (54) de la richesse dans un cylindre (14, 16, 18) d’un moteur à combustion interne (2) et à allumage commandé comprend un premier module de détermination (56) d’un terme lié à un moyen de régulation (50), un module de réglage (58) d’un facteur de calibration d’une quantité de carburant injectée dans ledit cylindre (14, 16, 18), et un module de calcul (60), le module de réglage (58) étant configuré pour mettre en œuvre un réglage primaire du cylindre (14, 16, 18) correspondant à un facteur de calibration primaire et un réglage secondaire du cylindre (14, 16, 18) correspondant à un facteur de calibration secondaire distinct du facteur de calibration primaire, le module de calcul (60) étant configuré pour recueillir des valeurs primaire et secondaire du terme lié au moyen de régulation (50) correspondant aux réglages primaire et secondaire respectifs Figure pour l’abrégé : Fig 1
