Abstract
L’invention concerne un procédé de traitement d’un caoutchouc naturel qui comprend l’alimentation dans une machine à vis sans fin d’un caoutchouc naturel sous la forme d’un coagulum humide, la machine à vis sans fin étant une extrudeuse qui comprend un fourreau et qui est équipée d’un dispositif d’injection qui comprend un ou plusieurs orifices débouchant dans le fourreau, dits points d’injection, et d’une filière à trous en bout de vis, puis l’injection d’un peptisant dans le caoutchouc naturel par l’intermédiaire du dispositif d’injection, ensuite la compression du caoutchouc naturel dans le fourreau à une température allant de 130°C à 210°C, suivie d’une détente éclair adiabatique à une pression différentielle supérieure ou égale à 40 bars. Le procédé conduit à l’obtention de caoutchoucs naturels qui présentent un compromis amélioré entre leur résistance au vieillissement par thermooxydation et leur aptitude à être travaillés dans des outils de mélangeage ou de calandrage.A method of processing natural rubber includes feeding natural rubber in the form of a wet coagulum to an auger machine, the auger machine being an extruder that includes a sheath and which is equipped with an injection device which comprises one or more orifices opening into the sheath, called injection points, and a die with holes at the end of the screw, then the injection of a peptizer into the natural rubber via the injection device, then compressing the natural rubber in the barrel at a temperature ranging from 130°C to 210°C, followed by an adiabatic flash expansion at a differential pressure greater than or equal to at 40 bar.
