Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé d’estimation d’une pression des gaz d’échappement en phase de fermeture d’une soupape d’échappement d’un moteur à combustion interne consistant à calculer ladite pression à partir d’une première cartographie de calibration du moteur. Selon l’invention, durant une phase transitoire en régime et/ou en charge de remplissage des cylindres du moteur, le procédé comporte en outre les étapes suivantes de calcul (E2) d’une valeur corrigée de régime moteur, d’estimation (E3) d’un écart de pression des gaz d’échappement en fonction d’une première valeur de pression et d’une deuxième valeur de pression issue de ladite première cartographie pour ladite valeur corrigée de régime moteur et de calcul (E4) de ladite pression d’échappement en phase de fermeture de la soupape en fonction dudit écart de pression.
