Procédé de modification d’un câble électrique (1) pour un véhicule, le câble électrique (1) comprenant : un premier tronçon (1a) comprenant une première portion (2a) d’une gaine (2), le premier tronçon (1a) ayant des premières propriétés, un deuxième (1b) tronçon comprenant une deuxième portion (2b), le deuxième tronçon (1b) ayant des deuxièmes propriétés, un troisième tronçon (1c) comprenant une troisième portion (2c) de la gaine (2), le troisième tronçon (1c) ayant des troisièmes propriétés, le deuxième tronçon (1b) reliant le premier tronçon (1a) au troisième tronçon (1c), le procédé comprenant une soustraction sélective de la deuxième portion (2b) de la gaine (2), de sorte à accroître une différence entre d’une part les deuxièmes propriétés et d’autre part les premières propriétés et les troisièmes propriétés.
