Câble métallique à haute résistance pour des caténaires de véhicules à propulsion électrique comprenant :une âme d’acier cuivré à haute résistance (1),une première couche de toronnage (A), entourant l’âme d’acier (1), constituée de fils d’acier cuivrés (2) à haute résistance et de fils de cuivre (3) de même diamètre,une deuxième couche de toronnage (B), entourant la première couche de toronnage (A), constituée de fils de cuivre (4) d’un premier diamètre et de fils de cuivre (5) d’un deuxième diamètre, disposés en alternance, etune troisième couche de toronnage (C), entourant la deuxième couche de toronnage (B), constituée de fils de cuivre (6) avec une section transversale initiale de forme circulaire, déformés plastiquement sur la surface extérieure du câble métallique,chaque couche de toronnage étant disposée à contre-sens de la couche de toronnage précédente.
