Description
The present invention relates to a disinfectant water supply unit (4) intended to ensure that drinking water, which is transferred from a drinking water connection (1) to the water-consuming parts of a care (8) (for example dental office, field hospital, etc.), or water having virucidal, antibacterial, non-toxic and ingestible characteristics, invention comprising a production device (4) and dosing (5) connected to the drinking water supply (1) by a valve (2) and distributing the correctly dosed disinfectant water, by a conduit (7) supplying the instruments of the treatment room. Quick to implement and inexpensive, the device provides protection against contaminants, including infectious agents during patient care.
Keeping a patient's immediate environment decontaminated (in particular due to splashes, aerosols and nebulization concomitant with care) in care units (for dentists, for example) comes up against considerable difficulties and has been achieved until imperfectly now. The invention provides for this purpose the production of disinfectant water necessary on the side of the health professional and assistant in a care unit (for example dental office provided for example with a turbine, a strawberry, an irrigator, and a spittoon, and at least one water container connected by pipes to the consoles and to the devices) in such a way that a distribution unit producing chlorinated water is connected to the care equipment using this disinfectant water for the purpose of disinfecting contaminants and infectious agents in the immediate environment of the patient during the care provided to this patient with these instruments.
Composition de l’inventionComposition of the invention
A disinfectant water generator (4) injects and entrains chlorine in water to be used by a health professional (for example a dentist or a technician) during a care operation. Disinfectant water opposes the mobility and viability of any microbes and pathogens present in the water or in a biological film that may be present in the pipes or pipes (7) carrying water. The system brings disinfectant water to each of the care areas (8) of the care unit. The disinfectant water generator can be used in combination with water from a mains water source. Alternatively, the disinfectant water generator can be incorporated into a bottle providing distilled water or any other purified water (e.g. field hospitals).
According to the invention, the water stream is taken from an existing service conduit (1), which via a main valve (2) is divided, on the one hand into a first partial stream leading to a production unit of Chlorine by electrolysis (7) in which water is mixed with salt from a supply store (9), in an electrolysis tank (10), and on the other hand in a second partial stream (6) resulting in a metering exchanger (5) in which the chlorine produced is mixed with this water in proportions of non-toxicity for the human body and which can be ingested. The chlorine production unit (4) is managed by a programmable subsystem (11) controlling the chlorine production system by adding salt to the water in the electrolysis tank (10), the electrolysis , the evacuation of electrolysis waste (12) and the distribution of chlorine to the dosing unit (5).
The invention also comprises a dosing unit (5) managed by a programmable subsystem (15) controlling the quantity of chlorine stored in a tank (14) arriving from the production unit (4) via a conduit (13) in order to mix it with the water of the second partial stream, passing through a regulating valve (16), in an exchanger (17) and end up distributing (7) the care instruments of the healthcare professional's care unit (8) with a dosage where the resulting disinfectant water has the characteristics virucidal, antibacterial, non-toxic and can be ingested.
The invention describes the water taken from an existing service conduit (1), brought to a main valve (2) dividing the current into 2. The first current circulates in the conduit (3) to end in the unit of production of chlorine (4) by electrolysis. The second current flows in line (6) to the dosing unit (5). The disinfectant water resulting from the mixture within the dosing unit is then distributed in the conduit (7) to the care instruments of the care unit of the healthcare professional (8).
Le second courant circule dans le conduit (6) vers l’unité de dosage (5).The main valve (2) distributes in 2 streams the water from the existing service pipe (1) or according to a variant of a source of bottled water supplying distilled water or any other purified water. The first current flows through line (3) to the disinfectant production unit. The second current flows in line (6) to the dosing unit (5).
The invention comprises a chlorine production unit by electrolysis (4) supplied with water through the conduit (3), supplied with salt by a salt store (9), managed by a programmable subsystem (11) controlling the production of chlorine by adding salt to the water in the electrolysis tank (10), discharging the waste from the electrolysis (12) and distributing the chlorine to the dosing unit (5) through the conduit (13).
The present invention also comprises a dosing unit (5) supplied with chlorine through line (13) coming from the production unit, supplied with water by the secondary current in line (6) and managed by the programmable subsystem (15) controlling the quantity of chlorine stored in a tank (14) to be mixed with the secondary stream water via the valve (16) in the exchanger (17). Disinfectant water or chlorinated water can thus be distributed to the care instruments of the care unit of the healthcare professional (8) through the conduit (7).
