Abstract

This system aims to make shopping carts, golf carts and other strollers less greedy in place thanks to an efficient folding integrating the wheels. Making them ultra-flat in one maneuver is the solution provided here. To do this we take two surfaces (1) frames placed vertically on which are placed two large wheels (4) in a low angle and two small multidirectional (5) below at the other angle that we unite face to face thanks to a or horizontal trays (2), the large wheels being inside the volume created. Thus, with the large rear wheels and the multidirectional wheel (s) (5) at the front, the assembly will be able to go up and down stairs and easier to steer. This essentially tubular, wired structure makes it possible to rotate the vertical surfaces on one another via the plate or plates around the axes (3). Thus the large wheels are one above the other making only one thickness to which we add two fixing thicknesses of the large wheels. A thickness of sheet metal does the trick very well. Ultra-flat folding system for trolleys, trolleys and other strollers

The invention presented here is intended to reduce as much as possible the size of a shopping trolley, golf cart, trolley, roll and other strollers once folded. Thus it will fit in the trunk of a car, will be transported more easily. To be more efficient, handy, practical, it must have large wheels to be able to go up and down the stairs, overcome the obstacles encountered. To do this, an ultra-flat trolley is the solution. Indeed the thickness of this carriage will be the width or thickness of a large wheel plus twice its attachment.

The principle consists in associating two tubular, wired or even solid structures (1) on which will be placed a large wheel (4) in a low angle of said structure and below at the opposite angle a multidirectional wheel (5).

The large wheels (4) will have the function of maneuverability and being able to go up and down stairs, sidewalks and other obstacles if necessary. They can therefore move from being completely set back from the frame of the structures inside the frame of the structures (1) to meet the needs of use but always on the inside face of the said structure. The small multi-directional wheels allow them stability and ease of movement.

We are going to link these two structures which being tubular, wired will serve as a pivot axis for the plates (2) thus bringing the structures one on the other. The large wheels (4) being inside, they will thus be one above the other. The two small multidirectional wheels (5) can be replaced by a multidirectional wheel placed in the center of the plate (2).

One of the surfaces (1) may be assigned a pivot axis offset by the width of a large wheel (4) in order to better fold the carriage. In this way the folded cart will have the thickness of a large wheel and two attachments of these wheels. Bindings that can be reduced. In order to also reduce the width and length of the carriages which will be mainly tubular, they will be able to benefit from a telescopic sliding system. This will also make it possible to ideally adjust the height of the said trolleys, for example.

The trays (2) can take various forms depending on the need, such as a golf bag, pram attachment, baby car seat or simply a hand truck tube. The trays (2) can be placed horizontally or vertically so once folded the large wheels (4) will be on top of each other or next to each other.

Figure 1 is a view of the basic structure serving as a model here a shopping trolley.

Claims (8)

Folding system for trolleys in order to make them ultra-flat, consisting mainly of two tubular structures, vertical wires (1) facing each other and plate(s) (2) linking the structures serving as a load carrier or container. Folding system according to Claim 1, characterized in that two vertical tubular, wire or solid structures (1) facing each other each receive a large wheel (4) fixed to the inside face of the assembly and a small multidirectional wheel (5) below. Folding system according to Claim 2 dependent on Claim 1, characterized in that the large wheels (4) pass from completely outside the framework of the structures to within the framework of the structures (1) to meet the needs of use but always on the inner face of said structure. Folding system according to Claim 3, characterized in that the axis of rotation (3) of the plate or plates (2) is offset or not by the thickness of a large wheel (4) on one face (1), thus allowing to the other structure (1) to be placed on the same plane and to form only one thickness of wheels (4). Folding system according to claim 4 is done vertically but also horizontally, the plate(s) (2) being horizontal or vertical according to need. Folding system according to Claim 5, characterized in that the tray(s) (2) whose primary function is to allow the trolley to be folded also serve as a base support for very specific needs such as placing a shopping bag, adapting a bag golf or even to attach a pram, a baby car seat to make a stroller or others. Folding system according to Claim 6, characterized in that the base of the structures (1) being tubular and forming an L, one or both parts are or are not telescopic in order to gain even more space. Folding system according to Claim 7, characterized in that the two multidirectional wheels (5) can be replaced by a central multidirectional wheel.
