Le dispositif selon l’invention est composé d'un caisson solide recouvert d'un gel de dureté minimale. Le gel absorbe les différentes vibrations et variations de pression qui ne peuvent pas être absorbés par les isolants acoustiques actuels. La masse des parois et éléments de l'enceinte est accrue sans pour autant accroître la rigidité de ceux-ci. L'enceinte acoustique peut comporter les isolants acoustiques classiques en plus du gel.
