Abstract

Le gilet de sauvetage comprend un harnais (1) agencé pour être enfilé sur le torse d’un individu et comprenant une structure dorsale (4) et une structure ventrale (3), au moins des boudins de flottaison ventraux (11) reliés au harnais (1) et des moyens de gonflage à actionnement manuel (32) pour gonfler les boudins de flottaison ventraux (11). Les boudins de flottaison ventraux (11), non gonflés, sont disposés dans la structure dorsale (4) du harnais (1) et, gonflés, sont déployés sur la structure ventrale (3) du harnais (1). Le harnais (1) comporte un cordage de guidage (15) s’étendant le long de ses deux structures dorsale (4) et ventrale (3) et les boudins de flottaison ventraux (11) sont reliés au harnais (1) par un raccord (12) également gonflable agencé pour, sous l’action des moyens de gonflage (14), se déployer en étant guidé le long du cordage de guidage (15). Le gilet n’est déployé sur le ventre qu’en cas de difficulté.
