Il est divulgué un procédé d’optimisation du gradient temporel de montée en pression dans un système d’injection de carburant d’un véhicule automobile hybride. Le procédé détermine et utilise un couple moteur généré par la machine électrique du véhicule pour réduire le couple moteur généré par le moteur thermique du véhicule et permettre à la pompe haute pression dudit moteur thermique de générer, le cas échéant, une valeur plus élevée de gradient temporel de montée en pression dans la chambre commune d’alimentation de son système d’injection.
