L’invention concerne un procédé de décapage d’au moins une zone d’une aube (1) de turbomachine, caractérisé en ce que l’aube (1) comporte un substrat (9) en matériau composite et au moins une surface recouverte d’un système de peinture (13), le procédé comportant au moins une étape de projection d’un média abrasif sur au moins une zone dudit système de peinture (13) de façon à retirer, au moins en partie, ledit système de peinture (13) dans ladite zone.
