Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé de désinfection par rayonnement ultraviolet d’un élément d’un système de climatisation (1) de véhicule automobile, tel qu’un filtre à air (12), le procédé mettant en œuvre un dispositif de désinfection (14) par rayonnement ultraviolet comportant un ensemble de diodes électroluminescentes (142) réparties en au moins deux groupes, le procédé comportant l’étape d’activer de façon successive l’allumage de chacun des groupes de diodes composant l’ensemble de diodes électroluminescentes (142), de sorte que l’intensité du courant électrique nécessaire à l’alimentation de l’ensemble des diodes électroluminescentes (142) allumées simultanément soit inférieure ou égale à une valeur seuil, chaque groupe de diodes électroluminescentes (142) étant activé durant une durée supérieure ou égale à une durée d’exposition minimale.
