L’invention concerne un procédé de détection de pannes d’un système de régulation et de protection contre la survitesse d’une partie d’une turbomachine, le système de régulation et de protection contre la survitesse à l’aide d’une roue phonique (10) et de capteurs (12, 14, 16, 18) mesurant cycliquement la valeur de la période de passage de dents en vis-à-vis des capteurs (12, 14, 16, 18).
