Abstract
L’invention concerne un procédé de contrôle de la charge du filtre à particules de la ligne d’échappement des moteurs thermiques de véhicules automobiles comprenant, au franchissement d’au moins un seuil de charge du filtre, une phase de régénération dudit filtre, caractérisé en ce qu’on surveille le chargement du filtre en mesurant en continu le différentiel de pression des gaz d’échappement entre la sortie et l’entrée du filtre et, en cas d’une augmentation brutale et incohérente de ce différentiel, on inhibe les limitations de performance du moteur pendant une durée et/ou une distance de roulage supplémentaire et déterminée du véhicule jusqu’à obtenir la régénération du filtre.
