Afin d’augmenter la résistance mécanique d’un rail (16) destiné notamment à la fixation d'un siège dans un aéronef, le rail s’étendant selon une direction longitudinale de rail (30) et comportant : - deux flancs latéraux opposés (26) définissant chacun un bord supérieur et un bord inférieur ; et - une base supérieure centrale (32) reliant le bord supérieur des deux flancs latéraux (26), la base centrale comprenant une rangée de trous de fixation (34) espacés les uns des autres selon la direction longitudinale de rail (30). Selon l’invention, la base supérieure centrale (32) comprend une partie arquée traversée par les trous de fixation (34).
