Abstract

The invention relates to a stackable package (1) produced by folding and assembling a pre-cut blank comprising a bottom panel (2) bordered by four side panels (3,4,5,6), and suitable lateral locking means. to center the package (1) stacked on another package, the lateral locking means protruding from the bottom panel (2), able to come at least in part to bear against the internal wall of another package on which the packaging (1) is stacked. Description

Stackable packaging made by folding and assembling a pre-cut blank and pre-cut blank to form such a packaging

The present invention relates to the technical field of packaging and, in a preferred but not exclusive form, the field of packaging obtained by forming a pre-cut blank into volume. The invention also relates to the field of pre-cut blanks for forming a packaging by folding.

In the above field, stackable packaging is known which is produced by folding and assembling a pre-cut blank and which comprises a bottom packaging bordered by four side panels, and lateral blocking means capable of centering the packaging stacked on another packaging, the lateral blocking means projecting from the bottom panel, capable of coming at least in part to bear against the internal wall of another packaging on which the packaging is stacked.

These lateral blocking means may comprise stacking tenons.

These packagings find a particularly important, although not exclusive, application in the field of transporting stackable packaging. Indeed, stacked packaging can have stability defects in the stacking of packaging. Such lateral blocking means allow centering of the stacks of packaging.

However, such packaging has the disadvantage of not being optimized to ensure optimal stability without adding material.

In order to remedy this drawback, the need has arisen for a packaging whose locking means are intrinsic to the packaging, in other words are integrated into the latter.

To this end, the invention relates to a stackable packaging produced by folding and assembling a pre-cut blank comprising a bottom panel bordered by four side panels, and lateral blocking means capable of centering the stacked packaging on another packaging, the lateral blocking means projecting from the bottom panel, able to bear at least in part against the internal wall of another packaging on which the packaging is stacked. According to the invention, the locking means comprise at least two tabs, each associated with at least one tenon capable of holding the corresponding tab projecting.

The implementation of projecting tongues makes it possible to create a gripping zone on the internal wall of the packaging below and thus to increase the stability of stacked packaging. The invention then guarantees palletization in a stable stack with packaging that can be obtained from a single pre-cut blank.

The invention relates to a stackable packaging which can be of substantially parallelepiped shape but a particular arrangement of the flaps also makes it possible to obtain other polygonal shapes such as a substantially octagonal shape. Within the meaning of the invention, the term packaging refers to various forms of packaging such as a tray, a case, a wrap, a tray and any other form of stackable packaging.

According to a characteristic of the invention, the bottom panel comprises cut lines partly forming the tabs. The cut-out implementation in the modesty panel is a simple solution for the implementation of tabs.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the cut lines extend towards at least two opposite corners of the bottom panel. Defining two support areas at at least two opposite corners provides good stability.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the cut lines extend towards two opposite edges of the bottom panel. The support zones can indeed be located at the corners or on two opposite edges in order to obtain the desired stability.

According to another characteristic of the invention, two opposite side panels comprise at least one flap and said flaps each comprise a tenon capable of holding a tab projecting. The implementation of flaps comprising the tenons which will keep the tabs projecting makes it possible to simply obtain a single pre-cut blank for the shaping of a packaging according to the invention.

According to another characteristic of the invention, two opposite side panels each comprise at least one notch and at least two tongues comprise a lug capable of collaborating with each of said notches. The implementation of lugs working with a notch increases the stability of stacked packaging.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the packaging comprises four tongues and four studs. This arrangement ensures maximum stability.

The invention also relates to a pre-cut blank for forming a package comprising a bottom panel bordered by four side panels, each of the side panels is separated from the bottom panel by a fold line, the bottom panel comprises at least two cut lines defining at least two tabs, two opposite side panels each carry at least one flap, separated from the corresponding side panel by a fold line, and at least two flaps carry a tenon at the edge adjacent to the bottom panel.

Of course, the different characteristics, variants and embodiments of the invention can be associated with each other in various combinations insofar as they are not incompatible or exclusive of each other.

Furthermore, various other characteristics of the invention emerge from the description below given with reference to the appended drawings which illustrate non-limiting forms of production and volume setting of pre-cut blanks in accordance with the invention.

It should be noted that in these figures the structural and/or functional elements common to the different variants may have the same references.

In addition, on the flat views of pre-cut blanks for the formation of packaging in accordance with the invention:

- the cut lines and the contours of the pre-cut blank are represented in continuous lines,

- the folding lines are shown in dotted lines.

The aim of the invention is to propose trays making it possible to ensure precise centering during their stacking.

A pre-cut blank for the formation by folding of a packaging 1 according to the invention, as illustrated in FIG. 1 and generally designated by the reference F1, comprises a bottom panel 2 bordered, on the one hand, by two opposing main side panels 3.4 and, on the other hand, by two opposing secondary side panels 5.6. Said side panels 3,4,5,6 are separated from the bottom panel 6 by fold lines 7,8,9,10. Each of the secondary side panels 5.6 carries two opposite flaps 11, separated from the corresponding side panel by a fold line 12.

According to the invention, the fold lines can be produced in any appropriate way and adapted to the nature of the material constituting the blank, such as for example by creasing, kiss cutting, dotted cutting or combinations of these techniques without that this list is not exhaustive or restrictive.

According to the example illustrated in Figure 1, each flap 11 carries a fold line 13 substantially parallel to the fold line 12 separating them from the respective secondary side panel 5.6. This folding line 13 makes it possible to obtain a flap 11 in two parts. The part adjacent to the secondary side panel 3.4 includes a tenon 14 towards the edge closest to the bottom panel 2.

According to this example illustrated in Figure 1, the bottom panel 2 is not rectangular. A substantially triangular portion is removed from each of its corners. This particular shape makes it possible to obtain a packaging with a substantially octagonal shape described below.

The bottom panel 2 also comprises four cut lines 15 extending towards each of the corners of the bottom panel 2. These cut lines 15 have a partly straight and partly rounded shape each forming a tongue 16.

The tongue 16 has a shape such that it can bear against the internal wall of the flap 11 of another packaging, substantially identical, on which the packaging 1 is stacked.

The blank F1, as thus constituted, is shaped in the following manner to constitute the packaging 1 as illustrated in FIG. 2. The fold lines 7,8,9 and 10 are formed so as to place the main 3.4 and secondary 5.6 side panels in a substantially vertical position, then the fold lines 12 are formed so as to bring the flaps 11 towards the inside of the packaging 1. The fold lines 13 internal to the flap 11 are then formed and each outermost part of each flap 11 is attached to the inner wall of the adjacent main side panel 3.4. This arrangement then makes it possible to obtain a packaging of substantially octagonal shape visible in FIG. 2. This particular shape is not limiting for the invention and other forms of packaging can be envisaged.

As shown more particularly in FIG. 3, when the blank F1 is erected, each tenon 14 exerts a force on the corresponding tongue 16 formed by the cut line 15 of the bottom panel 2. This force then places the tongue 16 projecting outwards with respect to the rest of the bottom panel 2. The tongue 16 thus essentially defines by its edge a support zone on the internal wall of the flap 11 of a substantially identical packaging on which the packaging 1 is stacked.

According to this embodiment, the four tabs are capable of cooperating with the four tenons 14 of the flaps 11 of a packaging 1 on which another packaging 1 according to the invention is stacked. This results in perfect centering of the packaging relative to each other.

The blank F2, illustrated in FIG. 4, makes it possible to obtain another embodiment variant of a packaging according to the invention. According to this variant, the blank F2 comprises a bottom panel 2 bordered, on the one hand, by two opposing main side panels 3.4 and, on the other hand, by two opposing secondary side panels 5.6. Said side panels 3,4,5,6 are separated from the bottom panel 6 by fold lines 7,8,9,10. Each of the secondary side panels 5.6 carries two opposite flaps 11, separated from the corresponding side panel by a fold line 12.

According to the example illustrated in Figure 4, each flap 11 carries two fold lines 17 substantially parallel to the fold line 12 separating them from the respective secondary side panel 5.6. These fold lines 17 make it possible to obtain a flap 11 in three parts. The part opposite the secondary side panel 3.4 includes a tenon 14 towards the edge closest to the bottom panel 2.

According to the variant illustrated in Figure 4, the bottom panel 2 is substantially rectangular. The two secondary side panels 5.6 each carry two notches 18 on the edge opposite the bottom panel 2.

The bottom panel 2 also comprises eight cut lines 15 extending towards the edges common to the secondary side panels 5.6. These cut lines 15 have a substantially rectilinear shape, thus forming substantially rectangular tabs 16, namely two cut lines 15 form a tab 16. There are therefore two tabs on the two opposite edges.

The tabs 16 also include a lug 19 in the center of their free edge, so as to have a support edge 20 on each side of the lug 19.

The blank F2, as thus constituted, is shaped in the following manner to produce the packaging 1 as illustrated in FIG. 5. The fold lines 7,8,9 and 10 are formed so as to place the main 3.4 and secondary 5.6 side panels in a vertical position, then the fold lines 12 are formed so as to bring the flaps 11 towards the inside of the packaging 1.

The fold lines 17 internal to the flap 11 are then formed so as to create dihedrals. The fold line 17 adjacent to the fold line 12 separating the flap 11 from the corresponding secondary side panel 5.6 is a re-entrant fold line, that is to say in the same direction as the fold line 12 separating the flap 11 of the secondary side panel 5.6. The outermost fold line 17 is an outgoing fold line. The dihedrals are thus created at the four corners of the packaging 1. The third part of the flap 11 is therefore fixed to the corresponding secondary side panel 5.6, thus bringing each tenon 14 into abutment against the corresponding tongue 16 so as to hold it in place. protrude outside the packaging.

It should be noted that the lug 19 of each of the tabs 16 is intended to be inserted into the corresponding notch 18 of a packaging 1 on which the packaging 1 is stacked. The support edges 20 of each of the tongues 16 are therefore in contact with the internal wall of the corresponding secondary side panel 5.6.

This support on the inner wall of each of the secondary side panels 5.6 opposite, thus allows stabilization of the two packages 1 stacked.

The tab 16 therefore has a shape adapted to cooperate with or bear against the internal wall of the flap 11 of a substantially identical packaging 1 on which the packaging 1 is stacked.

The two embodiments presented above include four tabs 16, but a packaging according to the invention can also include only two tabs 16 which each exert a force on the internal walls of the packaging below, in two substantially opposite directions.

Other embodiments of the blank constituting a packaging 1 according to the invention are illustrated in Figures 8 and 9.

FIG. 8 illustrates an embodiment of a pre-cut blank F3 for the formation by folding of a packaging 1 of the “tray” type. This F3 blank resembles the F2 blank. The blank F3 indeed comprises a bottom panel 2 bordered by four side panels 3,4,5,6. The bottom panel 2 comprises four tongues 16 located on two opposite edges of the bottom panel 2. Unlike the blank F2, a single flap 11 is separated from the corresponding side panel 5.6 by a fold line 21 parallel to the line folding 10.8 separating the corresponding side panel 5.6 from the bottom panel 2. This folding line is double according to this example in order to give flexibility to the folding. According to this illustrated example, these two flaps 11 each comprise two studs 14 capable of cooperating with each of the tongues 16 of the bottom panel 2.

According to this example, the tenons 14 have a particular shape which coincides with the shape of the tongues 16, that is to say that they comprise two more elongated outer portions intended to pass through the openings of the tongues at the level of the edge support 20 and the central portion cooperates with the lug 19 of the tongue 16. This embodiment allows the tongue 16 to be placed securely in the bearing position against the inner wall of the bottom packaging.

According to the example illustrated in FIG. 8, the blank F3 also comprises opposite secondary flaps 22 separated from the side panels 3.4 by a fold line 23. These secondary flaps 22 comprise openings 24 which coincide with the notches 18 when the package 1 is formed. Thus, the tabs 16 of the packaging press on the inner face of the packaging from below through the openings 24 of the secondary flaps 22 and the notches 18 located on the double fold line 21 separating the flap 11 from the side panel 5, 6.

FIG. 9 illustrates another embodiment of a pre-cut blank F4 for the formation by folding of a packaging according to the invention. This embodiment illustrates a "wrap" type packaging, that is to say that the blank comprises a series of four panels arranged in this order: a closure panel 30, a first side panel 5, a bottom panel 2 and a second side panel 6. The bottom panel 2 of substantially rectangular shape is bordered on its two other sides by two opposite panels, which are called side panels 3,4 by analogy because, when the packaging is formed , these panels are laterally arranged around the bottom panel 2. The four panels 30,5,2,6 of the series mentioned are separated by fold lines 31,10,8. The closure panel 30 comprises, opposite the side panel 5, a closure strip 32, separated from the closure panel 30 by a fold line 33. The closure panel 30 also comprises two opposite flaps 34, separated from the panel closure 30 by a fold line 35.

According to this example, the bottom panel 2 comprises four tabs 16 arranged on two opposite edges, at the level of the fold line 7.9 separating the bottom panel 2 from the side panels 3.4 not forming part of the aforementioned series. The two side panels 5.6 of the series each comprise two opposite flaps 11 separated from the side panels 5.6 by a fold line 12. is formed.

Of course, various other modifications may be made to the invention within the scope of the appended claims.

Stackable packaging (1) produced by folding and assembling a pre-cut blank comprising a bottom panel (2) bordered by four side panels (3,4,5,6), and lateral blocking means capable of centering the packaging (1) stacked on another packaging, the lateral blocking means projecting from the bottom panel (2), capable of coming at least in part to bear against the internal wall of another packaging on which the packaging (1 ) is stacked, characterized in that the blocking means comprise at least two tabs (16), each associated with at least one tenon (14) capable of holding the corresponding tab (16) projecting. Packaging (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the bottom panel (2) comprises cut lines (15) partly forming the tabs (16). Package (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the cut lines (15) extend towards at least two opposite corners of the bottom panel (2). Package (1) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the cut lines (15) extend towards two opposite edges of the bottom panel (2).
