L’invention porte sur une structure pour portail coulissant (1), comprenant : -un rail de guidage (30) s’étendant selon une direction longitudinale ; -un vantail (40) guidé en coulissement selon la direction longitudinale par le rail de guidage (30) ;caractérisée en ce que :-la structure comprend un moteur électrique linéaire synchrone à aimants permanents pour l’entrainement du vantail (40), le moteur électrique comprenant :-des aimants permanents (41, 42) fixés sur le vantail (40) et répartis selon la direction longitudinale ;-des électroaimants (51, 52) répartis selon la direction longitudinale en vis-à-vis des aimants permanents et solidaires du rail de guidage (30) ;-un circuit de commande (10) configuré pour alimenter sélectivement lesdits électroaimants de façon à entraîner le vantail en coulissement selon ladite direction longitudinale.
