SET COMPRISING A BAG DETACHABLELY ATTACHED TO A HEEL, AND BUNDLE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF SUCH SETS

The present invention relates to the field of bags left freely available to users in distributors. Such bags can in particular be bags for collecting dog excrement or even bags for packaging fruit and vegetables.

Document EP 2 586 326 B1 describes an example of a bag dispenser. Each bag has a pocket defining an interior housing having an opening limited by an edge extending substantially in a transverse direction. Each bag forms an assembly with a heel to which it is detachably connected by pre-cuts. In this case, each bag is connected to a heel by means of pre-cuts along the entire width of the edge defining the opening. A plurality of sets are stacked into a bundle, which bundle is suspended in the dispenser. The bags used in this document EP 2 586 326 B1 are however devoid of shoulder straps. However, users prefer to use bags with shoulder straps, which make it possible to tie a knot to close the pocket more easily.

We know bundles formed from a set E as shown in Figure 1. In this set, there is a bag S detachably connected to a heel T by pre-cuts P1 and P2 (schematized by broken lines ). The bag S comprises a pocket P defining an interior housing having an opening limited by an edge B extending substantially in a transverse direction T-T. Straps B1 and B2 extend in a longitudinal direction LL from and away from said edge B as far as respective free ends B10 and B20, and each having side edges B11, B12 or B21, B22 extending substantially along the longitudinal direction LL. It should be noted that the bag S consists of two layers of material arranged one on the other, and therefore that the straps B1 and B2 are in fact here folded longitudinally by making the side edges B11 and B12 coincide with a one hand and B21 and B22 on the other hand.

Between the heel T, the straps B1 and B2, and the edge B, is located a zone Z which has been removed by cutting. Zone Z is therefore devoid of material. The heel T is provided with through holes T1 and T2 allowing the attachment of the assembly, for example for a substantially vertical suspension as in the dispenser of document EP 2 586 326 B1.

A first drawback is that the holes T1 and T2 are necessarily arranged in correspondence of the free ends B10 and B20 of the straps B1 and B2 to maintain the assembly E substantially in one plane. Such an arrangement of the holes T1 and T2 is restrictive: it is for example not compatible with the suspension means used in the dispenser of document EP 2 586 326 B1.

A second drawback is that the bag S is only connected to the heel T via the pre-cuts P1 and P2 which extend along relatively short lines. The retention of the bag S on the heel T is thus very weak. However, some users abuse the free bags made available to them, by grabbing a larger number of bags than necessary, or even literally loot the distributors by directly grabbing a plurality of bags repeatedly. The low retention of the S bags with straps B1 and B2 on the heel T thus encourages abuse by users. This problem of abuse is increasing due to the ban on certain traders from distributing plastic bags to their customers for ecological reasons.

A problem proposed by the present invention is to provide an assembly that can be used to form a bundle, comprising a shoulder bag detachably connected to a heel by pre-cuts, and in the heel of which hooking holes can be arranged, in particular for suspension, more freely.

Simultaneously, the invention aims to increase the holding force of the bag on the heel to limit the risks of vandalism and looting by malicious users.

To achieve these objects as well as others, the invention proposes an assembly comprising a bag detachably connected to a heel by pre-cuts, said bag comprising:
- a pocket defining an interior housing having an opening limited by an edge extending substantially in a transverse direction,
- straps, extending in a longitudinal direction from and away from said edge to respective free ends, and each having side edges extending substantially in the longitudinal direction;
according to the invention, the heel comprises a penetrating part which extends along the straps and which is connected by pre-cuts to the side edges of the straps.

The cut-outs extending along the side edges of the shoulder straps can have longer lengths than the cut-outs P1 and P2 of the prior art, in order to thus provide superior retention of the bag on the heel. Simultaneously, the particular orientation of the pre-cuts extending along the side edges of the shoulder straps, which are generally parallel to the direction of traction exerted on the bag, increases the retention of the bag on the heel. Furthermore, the penetrating part of the heel contributes to stiffening the assembly (and in particular the bag) for effective support substantially in a plane. Finally, the penetrating part of the heel can then be used to provide more freedom at least one hooking hole in order to allow easy adaptation for most distributors (and for example for that of document EP 2 586 326 B1).

Advantageously, the penetrating part of the heel can also be connected by pre-cuts to said edge defining the opening of the pocket.

Such pre-cuts along the edge defining the opening of the pocket further increase the retention of the bag on the heel and the rigidity of the assembly.

According to a first possibility, provision may be made for the heel not to extend, in the longitudinal direction, beyond the free ends of the straps.

In this case, the heel can thus be reduced to the zone which, in the prior art, was listed as Z (comprised between the straps B1 and B2, the edge B, and the heel T). The constituent material of this zone is thus no longer unnecessarily lost and henceforth serves as a heel. No additional material is used to form a heel T as in the prior art. Thus, with less material, it is possible to produce a bag assembly of such large capacity.

According to an alternative possibility, it can be provided that:
- the heel further comprises a projecting part which extends, in the longitudinal direction, beyond the free ends of the straps;
- the protruding part of the heel is connected by pre-cuts to the free ends of the straps.

In this second case, the heel may have a shape substantially in the shape of an inverted T or U, the upper bar of which (the protruding part of the heel) connects the free ends of the straps and the central bar or the side bars (the or the penetrating part(s) of the heel) connect(s) the side edges of the shoulder straps. This further increases the retention of the bag on the heel. Simultaneously, the protruding part of the heel makes it possible to provide hooking holes substantially in correspondence of the free ends of the straps, so as to remain compatible with distributors using sets of the prior art such as that illustrated in Figure 1.

Preferably, the penetrating part of the heel and/or, where appropriate, the protruding part of the heel can (Fri) t include at least one hole for suspending the assembly.

According to another aspect, the present invention proposes a bundle of bags with a detachable strain, comprising a plurality of sets, as previously described, stacked and whose heels form said strain.

Such a bundle has a rigidity providing it with good support in a plane.

Advantageously, the stub may comprise first connecting means connecting, depending on the thickness of the bundle, the heels of the sets, the first connecting means being located in the vicinity of the free end of each of the straps.

Such an arrangement of the first connecting means makes it possible to confer increased rigidity on the stock in the vicinity of the free ends of the straps to properly initiate the separation of the heel and the straps along the inner lateral edge and/or along the free end straps.

Preferably, the stub may comprise second connecting means connecting, depending on the thickness of the bundle, the heels of the sets, the second connecting means being located in the vicinity of the edge defining the opening of the pockets.

Such an arrangement of the second connecting means makes it possible to impart increased rigidity to the stump in the vicinity of the edge defining the opening of the pockets in order to properly initiate the separation of the heel and the pocket along the said edge.

Advantageously, the first and/or second connecting means may comprise at least one weld made in the bundle by penetration of a needle heated according to the thickness of the bundle.

Such a binding mode does not require any added piece, such as a clip for example, which facilitates the recycling of the stump after removal of all the bags from the bundle.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

When identical reference numerals are used in several embodiments of the invention, these reference numerals designate identical or similar elements in each of the embodiments.

In Figure 2 is illustrated a first embodiment of assembly 1 according to the present invention, comprising a bag 2 detachably connected to a heel 3 by pre-cuts 4, 5 and 6 shown schematically by broken lines.

Bag 2 includes:
- a pocket 7 defining an interior housing having an opening limited by an edge 8 extending substantially in a transverse direction II,
- straps 9 and 10, extending in a longitudinal direction II-II from and away from said edge 8 as far as respective free ends 9a and 10a, and each having respective side edges 9b, 9c and 10b, 10c extending substantially along the longitudinal direction II-II.

The bag 2 is made up of two superimposed layers of material. Thus, in Figure 2, the straps 9 and 10 are folded longitudinally, and only the side edges 9b and 10b are visible (because they belong to the first, apparent layer of the bag 2) while the side edges 9c and 10c are not are in fact not visible (because they belong to the second layer of bag 2, which is hidden because it is located under the first layer).

The heel 3 has a penetrating part 3a which extends along the straps 9 and 10, and which is connected by the pre-cuts 4 and 5 to the side edges 9b, 9c and 10b, 10c of the straps 9 and 10.

When using such a set 1, the pre-cuts 4 and 5 extending along the side edges 9b, 9c and 10b, 10c of the straps 9 and 10 offer a retention of the bag 2 on the heel 3 which is greater to the retention of the prior art of FIG. 1. Furthermore, the penetrating part 3a of the heel 3 contributes to stiffening the assembly 1 (and in particular the bag 2) for an effective retention substantially according to the plane defined by the transverse directions II and longitudinal II-II. Finally, the penetrating part 3a of the heel 3 can be used to provide at least hooking holes 11a and 11b located transversely between the straps 9 and 10, which allows easy adaptation for most distributors, and in particular that of the document EP 2 586 326 B1.

It can be seen in FIG. 2 that the penetrating part 3a of the heel 3 is also connected by pre-cuts 6 to said edge 8 defining the opening of the pocket 7. The pre-cuts 6 further increase the retention of the bag 2 on the heel 3 and the stiffness of assembly 1.

In this first embodiment, the heel 3 does not extend, in the longitudinal direction II-II, beyond the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10. The heel 3 is thus constituted by the penetrating part 3a . By comparison with the assembly E of the prior art illustrated in FIG. 1, an assembly 1 to bag 2 of as large a capacity is produced, but with less material.

The heel 3 has two holes 11a and 11b for suspending the assembly 1, said holes 11a and 11b being located in the penetrating part 3a of the heel 3. The number and the shape of the holes in the penetrating part 3a can vary.

In Figure 3 is illustrated a second embodiment of assembly 1 according to the present invention. In this second embodiment:
- The heel 3 further comprises a projecting part 3b which extends, in the longitudinal direction II-II, beyond the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10;
- the protruding part 3b of the heel 3 is connected by pre-cuts 13 and 14 to the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10.

The heel 3 thus has a substantially T-shaped shape, the upper bar of which (the protruding part 3b of the heel 3) connects the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10, and the central bar of which (the penetrating part 3a of the heel 3) connects the side edges 9b, 9c and 10b, 10c of the straps 9 and 10. The retention of the bag 2 on the heel 3 is thus further increased. additional hooking in correspondence of the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10, so as to remain compatible with the distributors using sets E of the prior art such as that illustrated in Figure 1.

In this case, in the second embodiment, the heel 3 comprises holes 11a, 11b and 12a to 12d for suspending the assembly 1. As in the first embodiment, the holes 11a and 11b are located in the part penetrating 3a of the heel 3. In contrast to the first embodiment, the second embodiment comprises additional holes 12a to 12d, which are located in the projecting part 3b of the heel 3. The holes 12a and 12d are arranged in correspondence of the free ends 9a and 10a of straps 9 and 10.

Within the framework of the second embodiment, one could however provide an assembly 1 having only the holes 11a and 11b (or even a single hole), or having only the holes 12a to 12d (or even a single hole). The number and the shape of the holes in the penetrating part 3a and in the projecting part 3b can vary.

The sets 1 of FIGS. 2 and 3 can be used to form, by stacking a plurality of sets 1, a bundle 15 with a detachable counterfoil 16 (FIGS. 4 and 5). The strain 16 is formed by the heels 3 of the stacked sets 1. Bundle 15 of FIG. 4 comprises a plurality of sets 1 of FIG. 2, all identical. Bundle 15 of FIG. 5 comprises a plurality of sets 1 of FIG. 3, all identical.

To connect the sets 1 of the bundles 15 to each other, the stub 16 comprises first connecting means 17 connecting, according to the thickness of the bundle 15, the stubs 3 of the sets 1, the first connecting means 17 being located in the vicinity of the free end 9a and 10a of each of the straps 9 and 10.

More specifically, the first connecting means 17 comprise a plurality of welds 17a and 17b (bundle 15 of Figure 4) or 17a to 17d (bundle 15 of Figure 5) made in the bundle 15 by penetration of a needle heated according to the thickness of the bundle 15.

In the bundle 15 of Figure 4, the welds 17a and 17b of the first connecting means 17 are located near the free end 9a and 10a of each of the straps 9 and 10. In this case, the welds 17a and 17b are respectively located in correspondence of the pre-cuts 4 and 5 and in the immediate vicinity of the upper edge 15a of the bundle 15.

In the bundle 15 of Figure 5, the welds 17a to 17d of the first connecting means 17 are also located near the free end 9a and 10a of each of the straps 9 and 10. In this case:
- the welds 17a and 17b are respectively located in correspondence of the pre-cuts 4 and 5 and in the immediate vicinity of the free end 9a and 10a of each of the straps 9 and 10,
- the welds 17c and 17d are respectively located in correspondence of the pre-cuts 13 and 14, between the upper edge 15a of the bundle 15 and the free end 9a and 10a straps 9 and 10.

To connect together the sets 1 of the bundles 15, the stub 16 further comprises second connecting means 18 connecting, depending on the thickness of the bundle 15, the heels 3 of the sets 1, the second connecting means 18 being located at the vicinity of the edge 8 defining the opening of the pockets 7.

More specifically, the second connecting means 18 comprise a plurality of welds 18a to 18c made in the bundle 15 by penetration of a heated needle according to the thickness of the bundle 15.

In the bundles 15 of Figures 4 and 5, the welds 18a and 18c of the second connecting means 18 are respectively located simultaneously in the vicinity of the respective side edges 9b, 9c and 10b, 10c of the straps 9 and 10 and in the vicinity of the edge 8. In other words, the welds 18a and 18c are respectively located close to the intersection of the pre-cuts 4 and 6 on the one hand, and the intersection of the pre-cuts 5 and 6 on the other hand.

The weld 18b of the second connecting means 18 is for its part located close to the edge 8 defining the opening of the pockets 7, being located approximately in the middle of the bundle 15 in the transverse direction I-I.

Located close to the pre-cuts 4 to 6 (and, if applicable, 13 and 14), the welds 17a, 17b (and, if applicable, 17c and 17d), and 18a to 18c contribute to a good stiffening of the bundle to proximity of the separation which must be made between the bag 2 and the heel 3. This favors a good separation, and in particular the initiation of the tearing which must occur at the level of the pre-cuts 4 to 6 (and, if necessary, 13 and 14 ).

Other welds can be provided in the heel 3, in particular such as the weld 19. In the first embodiment, the weld 19 is located between the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10 and close to the upper edge 15a of the bundle 15. In the second embodiment, the weld 19 is located at the junction of the penetrating part 3a and the projecting part 3b of the heel 3, and located approximately in the middle of the bundle 15 in the transverse direction II.

In Figure 6 is illustrated a third embodiment of assembly 1 according to the present invention, comprising a bag 2 detachably connected to a heel 3 by pre-cuts 4, 5 and 6 shown schematically by broken lines.

In this third embodiment, the straps 9 and 10 are not folded longitudinally but are arranged one on top of the other. Thus, in Figure 6, only the strap 9 is visible with its side edges 9b and 9c, the strap 10 and its side edges being located below.

The heel 3 here consists of two distinct penetrating parts 3a which extend along the straps 9 and 10. A first penetrating part 3a is connected by the pre-cuts 4 to the side edge 9b of the strap 9 and to the side edge 10b of the strap 10. A second penetrating part 3a is connected by the pre-cuts 5 to the side edge 9c of the strap 9 and to the side edge 10c of the strap 10.

A plurality of sets 1 of Figure 6 can also be bundled 15.

In Figure 7 is illustrated a fourth embodiment of assembly 1 according to the present invention, comprising a bag 2 detachably connected to a heel 3 by pre-cuts 4, 5 and 6 shown schematically by broken lines.

This embodiment is similar to that of FIG. 6, from which it differs only by the presence of a projecting part 3b of heel 3. The projecting part 3b extends, in the longitudinal direction II-II, beyond free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10, and is connected by pre-cuts 13, 14 to the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10.

The heel 3 is thus constituted by two penetrating parts 3a which extend along the straps 9 and 10, as well as by the projecting part 3b. The heel 3 thus has a shape substantially in the shape of an inverted U, the upper bar of which (the protruding part 3b of the heel 3) connects the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10, and the side bars of which (the penetrating parts 3a of the heel 3) connect the side edges 9b, 10b and 9c, 10c of the straps 9 and 10. This further increases the retention of the bag 2 on the heel 3. Simultaneously, the projecting part 3b of the heel 3 makes it possible to create holes additional attachment 12a to 12d, in particular substantially in correspondence of the free ends 9a and 10a of the straps 9 and 10.

A plurality of sets 1 of Figure 7 can also be bundled 15.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiments which have been explicitly described, but it includes the various variants and generalizations thereof contained within the scope of the claims below.

Claims (9)

1 - Assembly (1) comprising a bag (2) detachably connected to a heel (3) by pre-cuts (4, 5, 6, 13, 14), said bag (2) comprising:
- a pocket (7) defining an interior housing having an opening limited by an edge (8) extending substantially in a transverse direction (II),
- shoulder straps (9, 10), extending in a longitudinal direction (II-II) from and away from said edge (8) as far as respective free ends (9a, 10a), and each having lateral (9b, 9c, 10b, 10c) extending substantially in the longitudinal direction (II-II),
characterized in that the heel (3) comprises a penetrating part (3a) which extends along the straps (9, 10) and which is connected by pre-cuts (4, 5) to the lateral edges (9b, 9c, 10b , 10c) straps (9, 10). 2 - assembly (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the penetrating part (3a) of the heel (3) is further connected by pre-cuts (6) to said edge (8) defining the opening of the pocket (7 ). 3 - assembly (1) according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the heel (3) does not extend, in the longitudinal direction (II-II), beyond the free ends (9a, 10a) straps (9, 10). 4 - assembly (1) according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that:
- the heel (3) further comprises a projecting part (3b) which extends, in the longitudinal direction (II-II), beyond the free ends (9a, 10a) of the straps (9, 10);
- the protruding part (3b) of the heel (3) is connected by pre-cuts (13, 14) to the free ends (9a, 10a) of the straps (9, 10). 5 - Assembly (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the heel (3) has at least one hole (11a, 11b, 12a-12d) for suspending the assembly, located in the part penetrating (3a) of the heel (3) and/or, where appropriate, in the protruding part (3b) of the heel (3). 6 - Bundle (15) of bags (2) with detachable strain (16), comprising a plurality of sets (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5 stacked and whose heels (3) form said strain (16 ). 7 - bundle (15) according to claim 6, characterized in that the strain (16) comprises first connecting means (17) connecting, according to the thickness of the bundle (15), the heels (3) of the sets ( 1), the first connecting means (17) being located close to the free end (9a, 10a) of each of the straps (9, 10). 8 - bundle (15) according to claim 7, characterized in that the stump (16) comprises second connecting means (18) connecting, according to the thickness of the bundle (15), the heels (3) of the sets ( 1), the second connecting means (18) being located in the vicinity of the edge (8) defining the opening of the pockets (7). 9 - bundle (15) according to one of claims 7 or 8, characterized in that the first (17) and / or second (18) connecting means comprise at least one weld (17a-17d, 18a-18c) made in the bundle (15) by penetration of a heated needle according to the thickness of the bundle (15).
