Abstract

Voilier pendulaire avec commande d’empannage. L’invention concerne un voilier qui s’oriente seul pour que soit maintenue l’incidence de la voile (5) par rapport au vent malgré les fluctuations. Le voilier repose sur 3 flotteurs. Le flotteur arrière (3) qui supporte les charges utiles et le gouvernail constitue le pivot pendulaire d’auto-orientation. La poussée aérodynamique du vent sur la voile s’exerce à l’avant, vers l’avant. La commande d’empannage (12) est utilisée pour régler l’assiette de la voile et pour changer le bord de navigation. Le voilier est toujours orienté à environ 90 degrés du vent, sur le bord choisi, mais il se déplace latéralement (en crabe) vers le cap du gouvernail. Il n’y a pas à déplacer charges et équipage lors des changements de bord Par vent faible le voilier repose sur les flotteurs, mais il est porté par les foils dès que sa vitesse est suffisante Figure pour l’abrégé : Fig. 1
