Title of the invention: Bag with easy opening for an adult

Technical area

The present invention relates to the field of packaging bags.

More specifically, the present invention relates to the field of packaging bags comprising opening / closing means, for example and not limited to in the form of complementary profiles.

Prior art

Many packaging bags and many closing devices for this purpose have already been proposed.

Most closing devices known for this purpose include two complementary sections, for example of the male / female type or of the velvet / hook type, or even of the complementary hook type, carried by respective support webs.

Document FR 2 628 067 has in particular proposed a bag comprising two main walls comprising two complementary closure profiles carried by respective support webs fixed respectively to the walls. One of the support webs is fixed to the wall of the corresponding bag in a conventional manner, for example by welding its upper edge and its lower edge to the wall of the bag or, alternatively, by welding its entire surface to the wall from the sachet. The other support veil on the other hand is fixed on the associated wall at the level of a fixing zone which is not superimposed on the profile but offset with respect to this in order to articulate this support veil on the wall at the level of the attachment area. As described in document FR 2 628 067, the above arrangement makes it possible to prevent the internal pressure in the bag from being applied to the closure profiles and tending to separate them. Indeed, the separation of the walls of the bag (in order to open the latter) leads to a possible pivoting of the support veil at the hinge zone formed by its fixing, without risk of separation of the closure profiles.

The sachets meeting this provision have already rendered great services and make the reopening of the sachet difficult, so as to assure its user that its contents cannot be brought out easily.

It has also been proposed in document FR 2 963 927 that the two support webs are fixed in zones located at a distance and on either side of the corresponding complementary profiles so that one of the articulated webs is directed towards the inside the bag while the other articulated sail is directed towards its mouth.

These sachets are even more resistant to internal and external stresses on the walls of the sachet, to such an extent that it is now very difficult to open them without damaging the closure device or the walls of the sachet.

However, in some cases, it may be necessary to be able to open the sachet without damaging it, in order to access its content while being sure of being able to close it after opening.

Such a bag finds for example application in the field of packaging of harmful products, such as laundry tablets. Indeed, it is important to be able to guarantee to users that the sachet remains closed between two uses, in order to prevent in particular children from accessing its content, while leaving the possibility for parents to open and close the sachet. repeatedly without risk of damaging it, and preferably without successive openings and closings being too difficult.

Summary of the invention

An object of the invention is to provide a bag comprising opening / closing means, for example and not limited to in the form of complementary profiles, and having a system for opening said opening / closing means of simple and fast by an adult and which is also easily industrializable.

For this, the invention provides a sachet comprising:

- a first and a second wall connected together so as to define lateral sides, a mouth and a bottom of the bag,

- A closure assembly comprising a first and a second support veil connected respectively to the first and to the second wall and each carrying a complementary closure element.

Furthermore, a through window is formed in the first wall and / or in the second wall of the bag, near the first support web and / or the second support web, respectively, so as to allow a user to access the closing elements from the outside of the bag.

Some preferred but non-limiting characteristics of the bag described above are the following, taken individually or in combination:

- a through opening is also formed in the associated support veil, said opening extending in the extension of the window formed in the first and / or in the second associated wall.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT

A bag 1 comprises, conventionally in itself, a first and a second wall 10, 20 connected together so as to define a bottom 2, lateral sides 3 and a mouth 4 of the bag 1, the mouth 4 s extending away from its bottom 2.

The bag 1 can be produced using a single sheet folded back on itself and welded on two sides or several sheets, for example two sheets welded together at their sides, preferably according to edges connecting the walls and forming the lateral sides and the bottom 2 of the bag 1.

The bag 1 further comprises a closure assembly. The closure assembly extends to the side of the mouthpiece.

The closure assembly comprises a first and a second support web 30, 35 connected respectively to the first and to the second wall 10, 20. Each support web 30, 35 carries at least one complementary closing element 6, 7 , for example of the complementary profile type, velvet / hook band, etc. The support webs 30, 35 can be attached and fixed to the associated wall 10, 20, or as a variant be made integrally with the associated wall 10, 20.

The first support web 30 has an upper part 31 ending at its free end (mouth side 4) with an upper edge 33 and a lower part 32 ending at its free end (bottom side 2) by a lower edge 34.

To facilitate the opening of the bag 1 by an adult, a through window 40 is formed in the first wall 10 and / or in the second wall 20 of the bag, near the first support web 30 and / or the second support web 35, respectively. The window 40 thus allows the user to access the interior of the bag 1 from the outside, and in particular to bring the application area closer to the efforts to open the bag 1 of the closing elements 6, 7.

If necessary, a window 40 is formed both in the first wall 10 and in the second wall 20, near the first support web 30 and the second support web 35, respectively, in order to allow the adult placing the fingers of both hands as close as possible to the closure elements 6, 7. In this embodiment, the window 40 formed in the first wall 10 is preferably of shapes and dimensions substantially equal to those of the window 40 formed in the second wall 20.

By "nearby", it will be understood here that the window 40 is formed:

- Either in an area of the wall 10, 20 in front of which extends the support web 30, associated (by being fixed directly on the wall 10, 20, or by extending substantially parallel to the wall 10 , 20 in the case of a support veil 30, 35 articulated on the wall 10, 20 via a hinge connection of the support veil 30, 35)

- Either in an area of the wall 10, 20 which does not extend in front of the support web 30, but which remains close to the latter to allow the user to access the closure elements 6, 7 to through the window 40. In this case, the window 40 is formed in the first wall 10 and / or the second wall 20 so that its edge extends at a distance at most equal to five centimeters from the closure element 6 7. This distance corresponds in fact substantially to the length of an inch for an adult.

In practice, the window 40 allows a finger to pass through the first wall 10 and / or the second wall 20 in order to locate the point of application of the force at the level of the closing elements 6, 7, between the support webs 30, 35. In this way, when the walls 10, 20 are separated, gripping the support webs 30, 35 allows the area of application of the force to be moved away from the upper part 31, 36 of the support webs 30, 35, which are generally the only areas accessible to the user on a conventional bag, for locating it at the level of the closure elements 6, 7 or their lower part 32, 37 and therefore limiting rotation of the closure assembly due to the spacing of the walls 10, 20. This has the effect of bringing the direction of application of the force on the closure elements 6, 7 closer to the direction of separation.

Optionally, the window 40 can be at least partially formed in front of the associated support web 30, 35. In this case, a through opening 50 is also formed in the support web 30, 35, in the extension of the first window 40, in order to allow the user to access the interior of the bag 1 via the window 40. The opening 50 can then be of shapes and dimensions substantially equal to those of the portion opposite the window 40.

Alternatively, the window 40 is formed in the first wall 10, 20 and does not lead to the support web 30, 35 associated. It is then not necessary to form an opening in the associated support web 30, 35.

In a first embodiment illustrated in Figure 2, the window 40 is formed between the mouth 4 and the closure element 6, 7 associated. As indicated above, the window 40 can be formed only in the wall 10, 20, either between the upper edge 33, 38 of the support web 30, 35 and the mouth 4, or as a variant in a region of the wall 10, 20 facing the support web 30, 35, in which case an opening 50 is also formed in the support web 30, 35 between its closing element 6, 7 and its upper edge 33, 38.

This embodiment is particularly advantageous when the closure element 6, 7 extends at a distance greater than the length of an inch from the mouth 4 and is therefore difficult to access.

To open the closure assembly, a user then only needs to:

- introduce one of his thumbs from the outside of the bag 1 through the window 40 (and possibly the opening 50) formed in the first wall 10 ❖ and not by the mouth 4 so as to directly grasp the first support web 30, preferably near the first closure element 6,

- introduce his second thumb through the window 40 (and possibly the opening 50) formed in the second wall 20 ❖ and not by the mouth 4 ❖ so as to directly grasp the second support veil 35, preferably near the second closing element 7. As a variant, when the bag 1 only has a single window 40, the user can introduce his second thumb through the mouth 4.

- Apply a force on the support webs 30, 35, near the closure elements 6, 7 with the first inch and the second inch in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the closure assembly in order to spread.

In a second embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 and 3, the window 40 is formed in the first wall 10 and / or in the second wall 20, between the bottom 2 and the bottom edge 34, 39 of the support web 30 , 35 partner. This embodiment is particularly advantageous when the closure assembly is difficult to open from the outside of the bag 1 but easier to open from the inside of the bag 1.

To open the bag 1, it is enough for a user:

- Introduce one of its indexes from the outside of the bag 1 through the window 40 (and possibly the opening 50) formed in the first wall 10 (and where appropriate in the first support web 30 ) ❖ and not by the mouth 4 ❖ so as to grip the first support web 30 directly from its lower edge 34, preferably near the first closure element 6,

- introduce its second index through the window 40 (and possibly the opening 50) formed in the second wall 20 (and where appropriate in the second support web 35) ❖ and not by the mouth 4 ❖ so as to grip the second support web 35 directly, from its lower edge 39 also, preferably near the second closure element 7. The user then has his two index fingers inside the bag 1. As a variant, the user can introduce his second index through the mouth 4 in a conventional manner when only the first wall 10 comprises a window 40.

- Apply a force on the support webs 30, 35 with its index, near the closure elements 6, 7 and from the inside of the bag 1, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the assembly of closure to separate them.

By way of nonlimiting example, examples of closure assemblies which are difficult to open from outside the bag 1 include:

- A first support web 30 fixed at least at its upper edge 33, 38 and a second support web 35 articulated on the second wall 20 so that the traction on the walls of the bag 1, when the closure elements 6 complementary are engaged, causes the rotation of the support webs 30, 35 around said closure elements 6 complementary. The second support web 35 can in particular be fixed on the second wall 20 in a localized area which is not superimposed with the closure element 6 and which is offset with respect to said closure element 6, so that the second support web 35 is articulated on the second wall 20. Such a fixing has for example been described in document FR 2 628 067 in the name of the Applicant.

- Two support webs 30, 35 connected to the wall 10, 20 opposite at a localized area. The localized zones can be arranged on respective opposite parts of the support webs 30, 35 (here the upper part 31, 36 and the lower part 32, 37), respectively on either side of the complementary closure elements 6, 7, so that one of the articulated sails is directed towards the inside of the bag 1 while the other articulated sail is directed towards its mouth. Such a configuration is for example described in the document FR 2 963 927 in the name of the Applicant.

- A first support web 30 and a second support web 35 can be connected to the first and to the second wall 10, 20 by means of a first and a second extension web, respectively, l at least one of the support webs 30, 35 being fixed to the extension web at a distance from its upper part 31, 36. Such a fastening has for example been described in the document FR 3 025 499 in the name of the Applicant.

An additional wall having a first panel connected to the second wall 20 near the mouth of the bag 1 and a second panel connected to the first wall 10. The additional wall is folded between the first panel and the second panel. along a fold so that the second side extends towards the mouth. Furthermore, the first support veil 30 is fixed to the second wall 20 and the second support veil 35 is fixed to the second section of the additional wall, so that a spacing stress on the first and the second wall 10, 20 of the bag 1 when the complementary profiles 6, 7 are engaged causes a rotation of the closure device around the second support web 35. Such a fixing has for example been described in the document FR 3 034 760 in the name of the Applicant.

The window 40 (and where appropriate the opening 50) can be produced by local cutting of the first wall 10 and / or the second wall 20. The cutting can in particular be carried out using an anvil or a die punch, as conventionally used in the art. By cutting, it will be understood here that the material of the first wall 10 and / or of the second wall 20 which extends within the cutting is removed, thus directly forming a hole for the thumb.

Alternatively, the window 40 (and where appropriate the opening 50) can be formed in the first wall 10 and / or the second wall 20 by making a line of weakness 42, either by local pre-cutting of the wall 10 , 20, or by local thinning of said wall 10, 20 (without removal of material). The realization of a line of weakness 42 implies that the window 40 (and where appropriate the opening 50) remains closed, until its first opening by the user. The window 40 (and, where appropriate, the opening 50) can therefore serve as a tamper-evident witness guaranteeing that no third party has previously had access to the user of the contents of the bag 1. If necessary, the rupture of the line of weakness 42 can also be dimensioned so as to make it difficult to open the first opening, thereby increasing the difficulty for a child to open the bag 1 for the first time.

In a first embodiment, the line of weakness 42 extends over the entire periphery of the window 40 (and where appropriate the opening 50), so that the window can be easily detached from the wall 10 , 20 associated. In a second embodiment, the line of weakness 42 extends over only part of the periphery of the window 40, the rest of its periphery being intact or, on the contrary, cut to form an opening primer. According to yet another variant, the edge of the window 40 can be delimited by a line of weakness 42 while the opening 50, which is hidden by the window 40, can be cut out.

Whatever the embodiment (cutout and / or line of weakness 42), the window 40 can also be covered by a removable patch 60, attached and fixed to the wall 10, 20 associated so as to hide it in whole or in part, and thus form a (other) witness of inviolability (see Figure 1). Patch 60 can be attached using an adhesive or a weld line. Preferably, the patch 60 is also repositionable in order to allow the window 40 to be closed again. This variant embodiment is particularly advantageous when the window 40 is formed near the lower edge 34, 39 of the support web 30, 35, in order to 'sealing the bag 1 after opening the window 40. If necessary, the repositionable patch 60 can be locally welded to the bag 1 so as to form a hinge. An example of a repositionable adhesive patch 60 which can be used comprises an adhesive patch with hinge of the Up'n Bag® type marketed by the company etikOUEST, or a patch using a transparent tape for closing the sachet with transparent adhesive and BOPP support. The window 40 may have any shape capable of allowing the passage of an inch. In one embodiment, the border delimiting the window 40 does not include corners but rounded edges in order to avoid creating incipient fractures. For example, the window 40 can be circular, oval, rectangular with rounded corners, etc.

Optionally, the first wall 10 and / or the second wall 20 can be locally reinforced at the level of the window 40 in order to prevent it from tearing during the opening and closing of the bag 1. Reinforcement can be achieved by attaching and fixing a film on the wall 10, 20 around the window 40, or by producing a local allowance made of material with the wall 10, 20.

It will be understood that the bag 1 may include more than one window 40 formed in one and / or the other of the walls 10, 20. However, the increase in the number of windows 40 also increases the risks that a child finds said windows 40 and manages to open the bag 1 and structurally weakens the walls 10, 20 of the bag 1.

To allow the passage 40 of a finger, preferably the thumb or forefinger of an adult, the window 40 (and, where appropriate, the opening 50) has a length, in the direction extension of the closure assembly between the lateral sides 3 of the bag 1, between 12 mm and 35 mm.

In one embodiment, the window or windows 40 are closer to one of the lateral sides 3 of the bag 1 than to the other of said lateral sides 3, so as not to extend centrally between the lateral sides 3 of the bag 1. In this way, each window 40 is less likely to be identified when handling the bag 1. Typically, the part of the border delimiting the window 40 which is closest to one of the lateral sides 3 of the bag 1 can extend at a distance between 10% and 30% of the total distance between the lateral sides 3 of the bag 1, that is to say that for a bag 1 having a length of 100 mm between the lateral sides 3, the part in question of the edge of the window 40 extends at a distance of between 10 mm and mm from the closest lateral side 3.

In one embodiment, each closure element 6, 7 comprises several complementary profiles (see FIG. 1), preferably between three and six complementary profiles, for example five.

The presence of several complementary profiles 6, 7 makes it possible to facilitate the engagement of the closure assembly from the external faces of the walls 10, 20 of the bag 1, by reducing the precision necessary to guarantee their closure. It also provides better resistance to internal and external stresses on the walls 10, 20 of the bag 1.

The complementary sections 6, 7 can be of the male / female, male / male type (arrow-shaped sections) velvet / hooks, or even of the additional hook type.

The complementary profiles 6, 7 can be altered sequentially by forming successive alterations along the complementary profiles 6, 7 in a direction transverse to the support webs 30, 35. The sequential alterations are local sequential modifications of the complementary profiles 6, 7, which may in particular include sequential overwrites and / or sequential incisions without removal of material (i.e. either only sequential overwrites, or only sequential incisions, or both sequential overwrites and sequential incisions ) and / or sequential notches with material removal. Reference may be made in particular to international application No. WO 2013/076120 in the name of the Applicant, which describes examples of the implementation of sequential alterations.

In one embodiment, all or part of the complementary sections 6, 7 may include sequential alterations. Thus, several complementary profiles 6, 7 can comprise sequential alterations while at least one complementary profile 6 can remain intact, or vice versa.

Whatever the embodiment, the walls 10, 20 of the bag 1 can be made of an opaque material (not transparent), so as to reduce the possibility for children to see the closure assembly through the walls 10, 20.

The walls 10, 20, the support webs 30, 35 and the complementary closing elements 6, 7 can be made from a single material, in particular one of the following materials: polypropylene PP, poly (terephthalate ethylene) PET, PE polyethylene, HDPE high density polyethylene, LDPE low density polyethylene and their associated copolymers, ethylene copolymers and / or propylene copolymers.

Alternatively, these different elements of the bag 1 can be made of different materials. Mention may in particular be made, without limitation, of a bag comprising a first wall 10 and a second wall 20 made of poly (ethylene terephthalate) and / or of polyethylene and a closure assembly (support webs 30, 35 and elements additional closure 6) polypropylene. Furthermore, the first and second walls 10, 20 may have a thickness of between 30 micrometers and 200 micrometers, typically of the order of 60 micrometers to 150 micrometers, in particular when said walls are formed in one of the materials described above. It will of course be understood that these walls can be produced from complex materials comprising several layers of different materials.
