Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de conversion (1) pour un moteur à injection directe, dispositif de conversion permettant à un utilisateur d'utiliser un carburant de son choix, par exemple un carburant sans plomb, un carburant de type Bioéthanol ou un mélange de carburant sans plomb et de carburant de type Bioéthanol, dispositif de conversion comprenant une prise d'entrée (20) pour recevoir un signal initial d'injection (SI) produit par une unité de commande (ECU) du moteur et un circuit d'adaptation (10) agencé pour fournir sur une prise de sortie (40), à partir du signal d'injection initial, un signal d'injection modifié (SM), l'injecteur (5) du moteur étant relié à la prise de sortie par un faisceau électrique de sortie (45). Selon l'invention, le dispositif de conversion (1) est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend également un dispositif de diagnostic (50) agencé pour détecter une défaillance d'un des composants de l'ensemble des composants situés électriquement en aval de l'unité de commande du moteur et comprenant la prise d'entrée, le circuit d'adaptation, la prise de sortie, le faisceau de sortie, l'injecteur et le dispositif de diagnostic.
