L’invention concerne un coffre (0) de batterie comprenant :un boîtier (1) formé d’un profilé présentant deux paires de faces opposées et deux extrémités ouvertes, configuré pour être assemblé à un boîtier d’un autre coffre le long d’une desdites faces, dite face d’appui,deux capots (2, 3) agencés à chaque extrémité du profilé pour fermer hermétiquement le boîtier (1),une pluralité d’accumulateurs agencés dans le boîtier (1),ledit coffre étant caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend au moins une portion électriquement conductrice (4) en relief par rapport à chaque face d’appui du boîtier, de sorte à assurer un contact électrique avec l’autre coffre par appui de ladite portion électriquement conductrice contre une portion électriquement conductrice de l’autre coffre.
