Abstract

La présente invention concerne une antenne pour illumination d'un objet en champ proche au moyen d'une onde électromagnétique de fréquence donnée, comprenant une antenne patch (110) présentant une symétrie axiale autour d'un axe de symétrie (A) ainsi qu'un réflecteur métallique (120) comprenant une cavité cylindrique fermée à une première extrémité par un fond métallique et ouvert à une seconde extrémité dans la direction d'émission de l'antenne, le réflecteur métallique présentant une symétrie axiale autour dudit axe de symétrie, le diamètre (ρint) et la longueur (Lint) de la cavité cylindrique étant choisis de manière à confiner le lobe principal du faisceau émis par l'antenne patch.
