Abstract

La présente invention concerne une méthode de commande d'un moteur thermique (10) comprenant les étapes suivantes : - estimation d'une température de gaz d'échappement générés par le moteur (10) durant une période comprenant une phase transitoire et une phase stabilisée durant lesquelles la température des gaz d'échappement passe respectivement d'un état variable à un état stabilisé, et - commande d'un actionneur (5) du moteur (10) en fonction de la température estimée. Selon l'invention, la température des gaz d'échappement est estimée par calcul à partir d'une première température issue d'un capteur (20) mesurant la température desdits gaz d'échappement et d'une seconde température issue d'un modèle préétabli.
