L'invention concerne une machine asynchrone à double bobinage (22), présentant un axe de rotation (X-X) et comportant un rotor (26) et un stator (24), le stator (24) comportant un circuit magnétique (28), au moins un bobinage d'excitation (30) et au moins un bobinage de charge (32), le circuit magnétique (28) comportant une pluralité d'encoches (36, 36E, 36C) agencées radialement autour de l'axe de rotation (X-X), chaque bobinage d'excitation (30) comprenant au moins un conducteur d'excitation (46), chaque bobinage de charge (32) au moins un conducteur de charge (54), les encoches (36, 36E, 36C) comportant des encoches d'excitation (36E) et des encoches de charge (36C), les encoches d'excitation (36E) étant distinctes des encoches de charge (36C), les conducteurs d'excitation (46) étant exclusivement logés dans des encoches d'excitation (36E), et les conducteurs de charge (54) étant exclusivement logés dans des encoches de charge (36C).
